Cool, Mike. I've been interested in Phobos for a long time, ever since I came across those photos (the cylindrical object and the shadow on Mars) in
some book FOREVER ago. I was probably between 10-13 when I first read about it. It doesn't seem a stretch to me at all that Phobos, and even our
own moon are probably not natural.

"I imagine a Space capable species might find us crude and reckless, poluting and aggressively primitive, and we could be seen as dangerous to come
into contact with, much like a disease."
My husband and I have talked about this idea quite a bit. We know that if it were us coming into contact with humanity for the first time we'd
certainly want to quarantine the whole planet, and not let anyone in or out until the humans had either learned to be civilized members of a
potentially galactic community, or killed themselves off. Excellent post you made.
