Microsoft seeks patent for office 'spy' software

Microsoft is developing Big Brother-style software capable of remotely monitoring a worker’s productivity, physical wellbeing and competence.
Microsoft submitted a patent application in the US for a “unique monitoring system” that could link workers to their computers. Wireless sensors could read “heart rate, galvanic skin response, EMG, brain signals, respiration rate, body temperature, movement facial movements, facial expressions and blood pressure”, the application states.

Installing cameras and bugging phone calls was bad enough, but this is ridiculous. This spy system has the potential to, in the near future, be installed on ALL home computers, thus giving Big Brother complete control over our very THOUGHTS. This is worse than 1984.

Big deal Vista has a trickle upload that send screen shots of your screen to the NSA microsoft claimed they removed it.

but who knows.


After the story got leaked online.

this was a year prior to when vista was released.

you can google vista upload to nsa should turn up a few articles.

this was in 2006 tho awhile ago.
