I'm just curious, but (and I doubt this strongly) has the United States allowed back in the United Nations Elections people who monitor elections. Bush had them kicked out of the country shortly after he took office (and cashed all the contributions from Diebold Corp and ES&S Corp; they make the electronic touch screen voting machine and are huge GOP contributors), and boy, we sure could use them now eh?

Ron Paul will run as an independent in my opinion. Since New Hampshire RP has been literally wiped off the mainstream media map. I think they were expecting him to get a recount and were all prepared to have him on to talk about that but he didn't bite so they are just not going to talk about him anymore.

Despite fraud RP is still getting lots of votes so that means he must be getting waaay more than they thought because even with the fix he is beating Thompson and guiliani. This has scared them, then he was on Leno and that sealed the deal they needed to put a lid on him and fast. I think they are trying to provoke him by ignoring him and watch soon they will leave him out of a debate just so he protests. Anything they can do to stop him talking about the constitution and the war.

It is easy to fix NH because it is an early primary and they essentially just stack their decks in that state and Iowa but on super Tuesday there are 25 states so after those primaries they will pick Mccain as the nominee and we will know probably on that week whether he runs as an independent. Then Bam Bloomebrg will run as independent.

This isn't an election for President "she" has already been chosen this is an election to defeat Ron Paul. His message has forced both parties to keep 3rd tier candidates in forever and forced them all to change the dialog from abortion and gay rights to real issues and its screwing them up. Ron Paul is the best for America we just have to see if he runs indy and i sure hope he does.

If RP is going to lose so obviously, then why the need for the shut-out?
If no one is interested, then he is no threat. Let the guy be noticed. Apparently we supporters are in the minority as per some, so let us track his progress and see if he is a threat. It seems like a double edged sword here. Either he is a no name, or he is a threat. He cannot be both.

I do hope he takes some airtime and puts out a few commercials.
I think the public would be surprised by his ideas and they would reconsider their support.

Oddly enough, lots of people still don't know who Ron Paul is. Even more automatically adopt the soundbites that are thrown out there about him being a 'Libertarian', 'fringe', 'long-shot', 'kook', 'racist', etc. Very few people actually look into any candidate. Their mind is made-up by these MSM soundbites.

If you ever talk to someone who doesn't know who Ron Paul is and present Dr. Paul's real positions the majority of people respond that it makes sense. Duh! Most people would agree with Dr. Paul IF they knew what he was about.

VERY recently the focus of the campaigns has shifted to the economy. Dr. Paul has been giving the same message since the start: the war and the economy are NOT two separate things. The economy will only worsen if we keep pouring hundres-of-billions of dollars into the wars. When people hear this and stop and think they realize it's true. And then they realize all the other candidates are clueless on the issue.

THIS is why 'they' want Ron Paul blacked-out. His message is real and it's truthful. And. more importantly, it undermines the credibility of the chosen candidates. 'They' can't have that.

Well unfortunately when asked this exact question, he replied "No, we have no intentions of doing that."

And that poses a possible situation where we might catch Ron Paul flipflopping on an issue for the first time. If he doesn't win the Republican nomination, I think there are so many people who will be so insistent that he run under an independent or Libertarian ticket, that he may have to give in and try it.

I hate to point out the obvious here but neither Ron Paul nor Dennis Kucinich have a chance at winning. And sooner or later you have to start thinning out the field to concentrate on those candidates that have a chance. That is the way it has always been, long before the rise of any drive by media. I get most of my news from the internet anyway because of the bias that goes on with TV, radio, and newspapers.

I just honestly can't understand why anyone could vote for Dennis Kucinich. I grew up in Cleveland, that's 38 years in the state before I moved away in 2006. I grew up hearing all about Kucinich and his problems while being mayor of Cleveland. He's nice guy and has good heart but he just doesn't have the skill set to manage the USA let alone any city.

As for Ron Paul, I really haven't heard all the much about the guy that would cause me to vote for him. I think some of his ideas are good but there just seems to be too on the negative side for me to consider him.

Frankly, I really not impressed with any of the candidates. None of them truly stand out. But I would never vote for another Clinton nor would I vote for another Bush. I've had enough of both families and it's time to get some fresh blood in the White House.

Ron Paul is largely ignored because he is racist, nuts, cannot speak coherently, and has almost no support.

then how do you explain the election of George Bush?

i shouldnt even dignify this nonsense with a response but i will give it a whirl. its been proven than the "racist" things said under pauls name were not written by him.
how exaclty is he nuts? because he sees the problem funding both sides to foreign conflicts and trillion dollar foreign field trips into the desert. and the problem with having a private corporation issue the currency? and defends the principles this country was founded on? yeah, real nuts. but then again i bet george washington was considered nuts to some folks.

define coherently. i am able to understand the words he speaks. Bush on the other hand.... and at least when paul opens his mouth the same message comes out as last time and he doesnt have to cry or use southern accents depending on who he is pandering... oops i mean talking too.
almost no support?.. i guess thats why he has beat king mayor of 911 twice, raised more money than all the GOP turds and wins more state straw polls than the others... yep a reeeall nobody..

good call buddy keep up the good work.

he may not win the election but then again nobody ever said americans were smart, after all, "American idol", and "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" are hit shows... we will get what we deserve.

I PLEAD WITH SOME OF YOU , as I read through these posts. And some of you say, and I quote "I AM RON PAUL ALL THE WAY" .

There is a huge problem with this, as you should all be saying "I AM AMERICAN ALL THE WAY" ...

as this is what truly matters. The United States should be "WE THE PEOPLE" yet, it has turned into a Popularity contest.

Oh, I like this person ... and he is who should win the ticket or he has some real good ideas. If you want him to be the "TICKET WINNER" you can make it happen last I checked this is still the land of the free.

Unless you are willing to give up some of your free time and go out and find this just like the "FREE PEOPLE" always have. Not online, bitching and moaning about it like some, hoard of people. Get out in your town ... if everyone would donate $5 and get a black SHARPIE and write who you support or anything of this nature on a T-Shirt and group up in groups and just get a copy of the declaration of INdepence and read it over and over in key places; I PROMISE you would get more attention from the Media; whether good or bad. Publlicity is publicity and this would at least let the rest of the U.S. know there are supporters out there that are willing to support this man. Or any person that the PEOPLE chooses to support.

Alright, I am going to have to say that we are drifting pretty far from the subject at hand, and I would appreciate us returning to the topic.

The topic is the premise of the MSM, the New York Times report, and how they are systematically suppressing Ron Paul. We'd be better served with additional evidence of this, from other MSM outlets doing similar things. Not that I don't appreciate most of your opinions, because I do. But please, let's keep the personal attacks on Ron Paul supporters out of here.

Thanks and Regards,
TA

I have to ask the question - why doesn't Ron Paul advertise on TV ?

If the message has to reach the masses, then wouldn't using the best available source be the right way to get his message across?

The MSM can choose whom to cover, but surely he can buy airtime to promote himself and his ideals.

And TV companies can also pick and choose their 'advertisers'. That's why you don't see porn ads on TV as you do the NET. Though I wouldn't mind it, free speech and all,
.

But yeah, stations can refuse any advertiser they want, which is probably why it's hard for our man Ron to get on.

Maybe Ron Paul was actually a controlled demolition.

Nope. A diesel engine in the basement of the NYTIMES printing press exploded and stopped the roller which excluded pauls totals (which are beating Fred and Rudy) from appearing in the column.

One problem, Ron Paul is the LAST hope for president that isn't CFR. And probably the ONLY one against WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA, Trilateral Commission, UN, World Bank, Bilderbergs, NAU, REAL ID, etc. The ONLY one. Point me to another Candidate that believes this, and I'll consider 'choosing' between two Americans. Until then, Ron Paul is the ONLY American running for president as far as I am concerned.

As to Kucinich's chops, this freckled face showed he had the stuff - to freak out TPTB. Though I admit I am not from Ohio.

Well, I want to find out directly from Ron Paul himself why he thinks this suppression is going on, so I just got off the phone with one of his staff, and have invited him to do a phone interview with me, as a member of the ATS network. If he agrees, I will make a post for the members to ask questions, similar to what's been done here with Dennis. We'll see what happens, but I don't have a lot of hope. This is one truly busy man.

Edit to add: I also told his media department that if he had already been contacted by ATS to pretty much disregard the message. I would imagine the three amigos or Dave Rabbit may have already done this. If so, awesome. If not then hey, I'm trying.

I support RP but I also believe that it his responsibility to make enough of a statement to be counted. We shouldnt even be asking the question, Where is Ron Paul? I SERIOUSLY doubt he took a pay off and I'd really like to believe that he hasnt given up...but.................?

Well I think we should when clearly the media and others don't represent him properly, as in the case of the OP above. And evidently, many others feel the same way.

lol, Ron Paul taking a payoff to get out of the race? You are kidding, aren't you?

No way.

why?
cuz he's the former mayor of the city.
It has it's perks .... even after you leave
but don't make it fair at all

LOL
haven't you heard ???
even if RP does get the most votes
the NWO will NOT let him win the election
that's already been decided
this is just the beginning
next will be missed votes
then will be ballot rejections by machines
then the box stuffing but NOT for RP
then will be the actual talley miscalculations
then CNN predicts RP loses
then we all go home feeling raped

sorry for being pessimistic, I just see it all flashing
before my eyes again just like in 2000 with Bush/Cheney
over Gore. History will repeat itself in order to keep
the NWO selectees in power. And there ain't a darn
thing we can do about it without a Smith & Wesson
Coup. Cuz the system don't work anymore as long
as the powers that be control the apparatus.

Go ahead, call me a conspiracy nut .....
I've come to expect it ... LOL
