nvnqvam

a *am 1 fem sing acc
v *am 3-5 1p ft act ind I shall see, I shall be seeing.
v *am 2-5 1p pr act sub I might see, I would be seeing.

n *m : fem. acc. sing. 1

non
non solum : . . . sed etiam : not only . . . but also
non : not.
nondum : not yet
nonnisi : not? not unless?
nonnullus : some / pl. several.
nonnumquam : sometimes.
nonus : ninth.
secus : non secus, haud secus: just so.
solum : non solum . . . sed etiam: not only . . . but also

paratus
paratus : preparation, fitting out, equipment.
paratus : prepared, ready, equipped; (of persons) skilled

my conclusion I shall see not prepared. Looking blindly.

It's Latin: Nunquam non paratus" (they used V for U)

the Latin translates, "Never Unprepared," Nunquam Non Paratus, was the motto of the 440th Troop Carrier Group of the 9th Troop Carrier Command of the 9th Air Force in WWII

Probably they studyed when they were at school and didn't waste all their free time in front of their tv set while looking MTV jackass or playing to Sega Games.

OTH, may be they're just very good with Google.

Talk about old school! Hell, I guess you could have mentioned Atari 2600 (PITFALL and ASTEROIDS rock)... or *gasp* horrors of horrors Intellivision (actually found one, picked it up for my kids... it didn't last).

(grin) Both. I majored in biology for my Bachelors' under a professor who insisted we learn enough Latin and Greek roots to be able to translate scientific names...

... and I'm also very very good with Google.
