The everything is a scary thing to be, so we are always trying to stifle ourselves from getting closer to the ultimate truth. Imagine what aliens could tell us about existance. Would we really wanna know?

If they've found the technology to bend reality so t5hat they can travel thousands of lightyears in an instant, in their doing so, they must have stumbled upon the truth about what reality really is. What if reality really was a supercomputer made by some super being that just thinks of it as a computer program?

Would this "god thing" necessarily be a good god?

If aliens visited Earth, they would be disgusted with the way humans act, and they would have a hard time communicating with us because we think in such a linear fashion that higher thought is impossible for us at this point.
