This is due to birth rates within existing Muslim communities and to a lesser extent immigration levels.
Muslim's continue to have large families thus the increase in proportion of the overall population.
There is also a perceived increase in Muslim extremism within some of these communities, for various reasons.
Yes, it is condoned, and yes, it is a worry.
