A PASSENGER arriving on an international flight at Glasgow Airport pulled off a dramatic escape by breaking out of the arrivals terminal, scaling a 12-foot-high razor-wire fence and fleeing into the night.
Despite attempts by Customs and immigration staff to catch the fugitive, the man was still at large last night. Now a local MP will meet with the director of the airport as soon as possible to urge a full review of security.
The escape is of particular concern as tough new security measures were put in place following the terrorist attack at the airport last summer when the terminal building was rammed by two men in a 4x4 car which burst into flames.
