The Spiritual War - Good vs. Evil

In the beginning of Mankind's creation, there was light in that all of creation was in harmony with the Creator's will. The son of the Dawn, the Shining Morning Star, was placed over the planet earth and the human family that Yahweh's son the Word had created to inhabit the Earth. Satan was the first to commit sin.

"Shining morning star, how you have fallen from the heavens! You destroyer of nations, you have been cut to the ground" Isaiah 14:12 (HCSB)

Satan's rebellion was a direct challenge against Yahweh's right to rule creation by righteousness. Yahweh accepted the challenge, and this is when the light was taken away from the world, because the first human subjects joined Satan in the rebellion. This was the beginning of the Spiritual War of Chess. Satan laid out the chess board for a long drawn out war that would include the testing of all intelligent creations that were endowed with Yahweh’s attributes. Satan had brought darkness upon creation. His pride and his inner need to be worshiped like Yahweh as a god, had ushered in a war that has lasted 6,000 years.

"Son of man, lament for the king of Tyre and say to him: This is what the Lord GOD says: You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every kind of precious stone covered you: carnelian, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and emerald. Your mountings and settings were crafted in gold; they were prepared on the day you were created. You were an anointed guardian cherub, for I had appointed you. You were on the holy mountain of God; you walked among the fiery stones. From the day you were created you were blameless in your ways until wickedness was found in you." Ezekiel 28:12-15 (HCSB)

Having made the first move and bringing the “Chess game” into play, Satan brought Mankind and their future offspring onto the board as his confederates in the war.

“The one who commits sin is of the Devil, for the Devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the Devil’s works.” 1 John 3:8 (HCSB)

Satan gains momentum as he adds members of the Celestial Order of Holy Angels to his side. They number in the millions. However, their only goal is to inhabit the Earth by taking form as counterfeit humans. Yahweh has already countered against Satan with a prophetic move on the chess board; he also prophetically moves against the humans who rebel. The fallen angelic hosts that have now joined Satan will be dealt with in a series of moves on the Chess board. In Yahweh’s first counter move of this war, He asked the Word (who later became Jesus Christ) if he would be willing to balance the scale of Righteous Law by laying his life down for those of Mankind that will be born into secondary sin. The Word agrees to give his perfect life, taking on Mankind’s sin as the Ransom Sacrifice. In exchange, Yahweh promises his first born Son a Kingdom for himself and all those that put faith in the Ransom that is given through Christ’s Sacrificial Blood. Yahweh explains that the Word must give up his heavenly home; and his then present position in the heavens and be made a little lower than he was for a short period of time; in that, he meant that he must be born of Mankind and wear a human mortal container. And, because Satan had challenged all of Yahweh’s creation to be tested, the Word must himself undergo a testing period as a human and prove himself without a blemish in order for the Ransom to be worthy. Yahweh told him he would be deemed the “Salvation of Yahweh” and so he could be called “Jesus”. Since his anointing was from his Father, he would also be called “Christ” which means “Messiah” and also means “Anointed One”. In addition, Yahweh asked that the Word be instrumental in removing the reproach that Satan had placed upon His Sanctified name by being the vindicator of his Father at the expense of his perfect life and the possibility of failing and forever more losing his own precious existence in creation. Those were the high stakes of the Chess game we are all presently still involved in.

“But we do see Jesus – made lower than the angels for a short time so that by God’s grace He might taste death for everyone – crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death. Now since the children have flesh and blood in common, He also shared in these, so that through His death He might destroy the one holding the power of death – that is, the Devil – Therefore He had to be like His brothers in every way, so that He could become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.” Hebrews 2:9, 14, 17 (HCSB)

By the Word becoming Jesus Christ, his unselfish willingness to take on Mankind’s sin as a relief from spiritual death and a turning of Yahweh’s wrath from those that put faith in the Sacrifice, was the undeserved kindness that Yahweh was presenting to all of Mankind. All that was necessary was to accept the truth of the living Word – Christ Jesus into their hearts. That would be the beginning of the catalyst of his Holy Spirit’s positive energy to help bring people to salvation. Meanwhile, Satan has been working feverishly on pulling as many of the heavenly hosts away from Yahweh’s family as possible. Yahweh has agreed that if Satan wins, he can live. But two conditions must be met. 1) He must pull everyone away from the Creator’s side, or 2) he must stop a single prophetic event from happening that will later be foretold by the Word. At that time, Satan was in the dark, so he did not comprehend that the Word would also become he “living Word” of the Scriptures, exercising power to discern hearts by the Holy Spirit’s Active Force that emanates from the very presence of Yahweh.

Satan's intentions of winning the war and being permitted to live, are to halt the first Rapture. If he can kill off all faithful Christians before that Rapture occurs, because the Rapture(s) are intended for those caught up while still alive to Christ, he will have won his tin-godship that Yahweh agreed to. But Yahweh says Satan will not win this spiritual war. He knows the end from the beginning.

"The Lord of Hosts has sworn: As I have planned, so it will be; as I have purposed it, so it will happen. The Lord of Hosts Himself has planned it; therefore, who can stand in its way? It is His hand that is outstretched, so who can turn it back?" Isaiah 14:24,27 (HCSB)
