UFO Containing Hieroglyphics is 'Message From Mars,' Claims Local Scientist - 1897

A follow-up article offering the notion that this instance of an "aerolite" containing "Hieroglyphics" is not the first.

A "Professor Wiggins" feels that the aerolite (meteor) came from Mars, and that that throughout history there have been occurrences similar to this one, citing "ancient Jews" and their "sacred books" having fallen from heaven.

So where is this aerolite? Where are the 'hieroglyphics'? I haven't seen hair nor hide of either in the article! On what does he base his assumptions? Have these 'hieroglyphics' been analyzed and deciphered?

And who the heck is Wiggins?? I know one at Pizza Hut! Is he the same?
