Lets get the U.S. military to throw about 40,000 pounds of pillows. Kill them with kindness. Seriously people seem to get pissed off about dropping tons of bombs in an armed conflict. Wouldn't suprise me if people ask that the U.S. military to limit the magazine capacity to 5 instead of 30 rounds.

First off I am against our occupation of Iraq, I think we have been there long enough and need to leave the mideast to fend for themselves.

However this is a double edged sword, if we sent troops in and suffered casualties on our side people would be crying about that. It is war and bad things happen in war, I dont like to think about people being killed over there on either side. But I would rather see them use what technology we have instead of sending ground troops in to be slaughtered.

It is a bad situation either way you look at it, and high time we get the hell out of there. But we wont, we will be fed the BS that, this is keeping us safe, we are fighting the good fight, all the while fighting an idea, fighting a boogy man that will never ever go away. I love this country with all my heart, but I loath the fools on the hill that run this government.

The only thing that's there against us are native people who's lives have been ruined by our holier than thou meatheaded gi joes blowing up their homes and ramsacking what government they did have fir almost 5 years now. 40,000 lbs sounds like alot...but well, if each bomb weight a thousand or so pounds, and the area was rather large, it really isn't alot is it??

and, ya, I'm wondering where they were at while the little iranian speedboats were harassing our ships. they could have at least made an appearance.

Some of us aren't sure who the Bad Guys are.

The majority of the Iraqi's did not want this war. They don't want us there and many of them ARE innocent of any crime.

I used to tell my 10 year old son after coming home w/teeth missing and black eyes the next time someone hits you "knock 'em down the first time" and they will think twice before doing it again. my point being, if you are going to wage war and fight knock the living daylights out in the beginning and quit slapping them around. it only serves to irritate and eventually they will snap and come at you w/ak47's.
