Hologram

Has anyone seen this? I posted to another thread under 'skunk works'. This is only my second post so I figured it belonged here more than anywhere else. Below is the original reply.

Well, I finally had to sign up so I could post a reply. I found this on Break.com

I followed his directions and watched it here at the .gov site.

I found it interesting because of the info we know concerning holograms. My wife said 'why don't they just tell us he's dead'.

The comments on Break.com are from sheeple. I'm very interested in hearing what the readers views are here.

The guy sounds like the Israeli investigative reporter that was in Alex Jones' lastest video. Does anyone remember his name?

I have just watched the video on the whitehouse web site and to be honest it looks like he is moving his hand side to side just out of sight of the camera?

His hands appear to be joined at the fingertips and just rocking from side to side which is causing his sleave to go up his arm.

But i am not an expert and i am far from skeptical about anything always open minded but this is mho

there is speculation in regards to project blue beam and seriously huge holograms

I wonder if this has been used at all or tested on a massive scale

i totally like the idea of holographic science

always reminds me of a 19 year old female who asked for obi-wan's help


also the way the laser of the hologram seems to stop where the image would be and does just keep going

its fascinating, also kind of like how i never understood the light saber and its length, what was there to tell the laser/beam to stop at that time

it seems to me that light is not stopped in a sense

im not a physics wiz though, anyone care to rebuttal

I watched the video on the first link. The video on the other site wouldn't load for me. I don' think it was his sleeving moving up his arm. If you ever really watch video game characters that are CGIs they can do the same thing(move through solid objects). I can see the possibility that this a hologram. I also watched some other videos with Secretary Paulson(spelling?) and in the hologram video he has a very different mannerism. Like was mentioned he acted very shy and timid and from the other videos I watched this is not his demeanor at all. I am going to lean more towards hologram than real person.

I dont even know why I'm replying, its an absurd idea. The video has quite a low resolution, and the white bit of the sleeve seems to hover around a width of 1 pixel (at the top especially, and notice the use of the word hover). Obviously digital video can only display in pixel increments, so as the camera moves around a little (as it does all the way through this video), the computer has to display this bit of sleeve as either more or less than 1 pixel (or the small amount that it is). This will make the white bit either 1, 2, 3 or even larger numbers of pixels wide, making it appear to shrink and expand. It is very noticeable on that guys sleeve because the white contrasts well with the suit, and that the white bit of the sleeve is nearly vertical from the angle we view it at.

And as for being a hologram, no. Holograms are created by interference patterns on film (or other medium). I think you are meaning volumetric displays.

The guy looks bored and vacant, but it did seem like a boring news conference. He probably had better things to do that day.
