The remains of 30 Egyptian soldiers buried in a mass grave in Sheikh Zuayed, not far from the Egypt - Gaza border. The bodies are believed to be from the 1967 Six Day War and an investigation is underway to determine if these soldiers were executed or casualties of battle.

This discovery is in addition to another mass grave of Egyptian soldiers discovered near Eilat.

There is speculation that Israeli troops executed some Egyptian POW's during the war in 1967.

I will be very interested to see what information surfaces as a result of the investigation.

Compare the first linked article to this one from another point of view and it is no wonder they can't get along.

Egypt finds wartime mass grave

...Egypt in the past has accused Israeli forces of massacring its troops during wartime campaigns, but Cairo reserved comment on how, when or why the mass grave was dug.

This report says at least 10 soldiers were found and that it was most likely remains of one of the three wars between the two countries prior to the 1978 peace agreement.

I will try to provide more info on this discovery as it becomes available.
