I want to point out that those who are on JakCat's "official list" and picked the same day will ALL receive the shirt and points should their day end up being "the day".

Springer...

That is AWESOME!

Looks like the time is drawing near, 3,963,166 means just under 40k posts til the four millionth post.

Who will be crowned the winner? Who will be the 4 millionth poster?

Some fun days ahead, and once again thanks to all the members who join together to

Using high tech prophecy principles (also known as looking at numbers and a few quick calculations) these look most likely.

3,963,166 posts, average 3600 posts (7 day average), puts us at 10.23 days to 4 million.

Dang it! Just a day short by your prediction.

I need to find a heck of an idea for a thread to attract more posts!!

oooohhhh.. interesting.

I wonder if it will be a case of "I just knew it"

Or a case of "blast, missed it by a few hours"

Either way, anything can happen.. and we're getting closer too..

Looks like my guess will be a few days off.

Oh well, my unofficial guess is going to be for the 11th.

Course, you could look at it like this, to quote Homer Simpson:

"You can use statistics to prove anything. 40% of people know that."

Somewhere around 21,000 posts left.

Is it too late to enter my prediction (now that we are approaching the ZERO hour)?

we're going to need some clarification as to the time zone.

I'm going to assume we're going with Eastern Time (NYC) as that is the so called global headquarters but I'll let one of the amigos weigh in on that.

Since the posts are on the server, we are going to use the server clock which is Central Standard Time U.S., it is currently 10:36AM on that clock.

Whoever picked today is going to win.

Agreed.

After myself and several others had posted our predictions, some had put in their time zone initials, others hadn't.

It wasn't until page 7 when this post actually set a time zone;
www.abovetopsecret.com...

So even if it does fall on the 12th for all you over there, and it falls on the 13th for me, then I'll still be right in my time zone. But of course, judges decisions are final and it's all been good fun anyway

Big congrats to the winner/s whoever it may be.
An even BIGGER congrats to everyone on ATS who has made it so.

(laugh my head off if this is the 4 mil post
)

I didn't realize JacKat had established a time zone, since he did and it's well before my post above, we'll honor the EST (U.S. Eastern Standard Time) time zone for the contest.
