It has been talked about, developed, refined and re-refined, as it will be again I'm sure...but here we have it. The first invisibility shield....

I was browsing the subject and found this great article Popular Science... all about the latest "public" version of invisibility. As we all know the M.I.C. (Military Industrial Complex) is far ahead of what the sheep are fed.... so with that in mind, read this article complete with a nifty video, and contemplate where the M.I.C. is on this meta_material technology.

I found this quote interesting....

these materials interact with light in such a way that it travels faster through the metamaterial than it does through a vacuum

.....Would this not mean that the light is traveling faster than the accepted speed...299,792,458 metres per second

The speed of light in a vacuum is an important physical constant denoted by the letter c for constant

is this what is being said? or have i missed something

Interesting article... BUT, why did you put it in Breaking News?
The first link is 1 and half years old and the other one 10 months old. Hardly breaking news...

The vid is just an animation. Not the real deal.

Both of the OP articles say that this is theory, and they're not doing it yet.
More speculation, though at least it shows they're thinking about it.
