As the little entence under the title of this forum says...Can pop-rocks and soda really kill you???

As far as I remember it's an urban legend. I've done it and am still here.

The dissolved carbon dioxide from soda and pop-rocks can't kill you. The pop-rocks add only a negligable amount of carbon dioxide, although it may seem like alot.

yes it can kill you if the pop-rocks are crack rocks and the soda is actually vodka..then yes it will kill you...eventually

or you eat 10 pounds of pop rocks(space dust here in the uk) very quickly, then lay under a soda pump for 10 mins slowly filling your stomach up .you then gag your self. POP

nope, i used to eat pop rocks and drink soda within a short time span all the time and i never felt any sort of discomfort other than just a bit of gas.

No, but you can use pop rocks for certain "oral" compliments for the ladies!! If you add soda, I'd imagine you'd at least get hit.

I tried it out once. But by accident i chugged the bag of pop rocks to fast so then i started to choke. I had soda handy but only made matters worse. My eyes were starting to get wattery..then very slowlyi just saw the light and passed out. then i woke up in the hospital. So yes pop rocks and soda can kill you.

Yeah. Those are myths. I used to eat tooth-paste just for fun when I was young, and I'm still here as well.

i saw some pop rocks in kroger the other day and had to buy some, tried it out and it worked! i'm dead right now! ok maybe not.....

they did seem to pop alot more though and..

Well i ate 3 packs of pop0rocks an then drank four cans of coke and now i'm dead as a doornail... so whoever told you it was a lie was wrong!
