Bogota opens 'museum of laziness'

news.bbc.co.uk

A museum dedicated to laziness has opened in Colombia's capital, Bogota.
The event features sofas placed in front of televisions, hammocks and beds - anything associated with the avoidance of work.

The idea is to get people during the holiday season to think about laziness and its opposite, extreme work, and perhaps reach some balanced conclusion.

Visitors will have to shed their laziness long enough to get to the museum soon - it closes in a week.

I think any museam exibit can be an interesting one. But to me this is kind of funny. I do wonder if people who like lazy will take the time to come and see a mueseam dedicated to being lazy.

If I lived in Colombia, I would be there!

There seems to be a museum for everything else these days, I wonder if the lazy people that go in to admire the laziness will find themselves sitting on the exhibits while watching tele.

Nite
thanks for commenting.
And haha yes that is a good point. The museum exhibits may wind up only being used by the first people to show up and sit on them.

It's a shame it's closing soon and I'll never get to see it. I bet they have some great spots for taking a nap.
