I don't know about it being misused. I don't see how it can be misused, as a matter of fact. They give a broad, general statement about what they're after, then allow the bill to be used for:

any other uses determined by the Secretary to be necessary to prevent radicalization and homegrown terrorism


It seems written so that, if it passes, any use is acceptable.

Now this has a ring of concern to it when the ACLU agrees with a bill of this kind...

2. Does anybody know of a place where us "free-thinkers" can flee too?

We should all band together on this and pool resources. Has anyone tried getting the media to cover this? I am afraid that it is almost time to start planing on moving far, far, far away from the reaches of Big Brother.

Do they honestly expect to enforce this law? Is the government seriously so mental to think they can actually enforce this and not expect serious retaliation from the community at large? I'm sorry btu as far as I'm aware of, there's mosre of us "enemies" than there is of them. They better be prepared to have their heads hanging from the gallows is all I can say.

I agree, I've been asking around if anyone knows of a way I can live "off the grid" so I can either a) move to another place unseen or b) if I can't move, then live without being chipped. I'd sooner die than be chipped

Yea, The united states. Nothing has changed from this. I don't know why you people are ignoring this fact. There is NO CHANGE in the laws from this.

umm...let's see, smokers, welfare recipients, liberals, those "sub-primers" out there, the uninsured....
the smokers are being used as the scapegoats, in hopes that it will confuse the masses long enough so that they don't look too closely at the labels of the crap they buy and figure out just how much toxins are in them....
the welfare recipients, the poor, the homeless, ect.....there's been so much rhetoric through the past few decades trying to get the rest of us to see them as just lazy and unproductive....they're scapegoats also.
the liberals, will gee, think through the past few years. the sub-primers, soon to be the scapegoat for what could possibly be the worse economic collaspe in history. and the uninsured.....those who just don't carry the insurance and thus drive the cost of healthcare up for all of us...

people do strange things when their pressed into a corner, so, yes, I can see this happening if things got too bad. But, I don't see how this bill on it's own would hasten it too quickly. sounds more like funding for some study on the issue, followed by a few social programs designed to make those that feel our society alienates them more accepted. just another neat new way to blow our taxmoney on useless crap in other words....

but, ya, I've seen something quite similar to the nazi concentration camps coming at us for awhile...since childhood really..but don't ask me to explain. but, for the past few decades, I've been watching the peices fall into place..

but who exactly is going to be rounding up us 80-100 million gun owners? you think our military (many of whom are card carrying NRA members) going to do it? talk about being outnumbered...

I know but the problem is that many gun owners would cave. Just like in California, first they register arms then the Government takes , slowly.

Im looking at the detention camps that Haliburton has bulit and I have to wonder if they have been working towards this for years.

Someone, please give me coordinates for a Halliburton concentration camp so I can view it on Google and then go there and take photos to show the world.

Hey there kyred. I am in the middle of a research project on ATS about the concentration camps. There are google earth photos and my team members are also taking photos from other areas around the country. Keep an eye out for updates.

Thanks Amaxium. Appreciate your help. Taking another trip this weekend and finishing up research. Will have final report next week. Just some advice, keep posting and remember, this is for everyone, always think for yourself. We have to spread the word of the things this regime is trying to do to the great people of the US.

What image are you referencing? Since you refernce 2 things specifically, you should have no problem providing photographic evidence of this. I am a believer, but you make a large claim regarding "the beast."

I too am interested in the "beast" reference. Please elaborate if possible.

Some things I find interesting about this ----
1. It is a good example of pure "Federalism". It is about establishing a pseudo authority coming from the "Fed", "Central", "Fascist", "Totalitarian", big Government, Big Business Interest. It is about creating a dynastic kind of authority entrusted to the "Feds".
2. Right up front it talks about "contracting out" work to meet the needs of the "Commission". Needless to say, and brutality and subjugation will be delegated the contractors in order to deflect responsibility for abuse and accountability away from the commission itself.
3. It will create a University, pseudo authority, for what will be the justifications because it will "Scientific", "Learned", "Intellectual".
4. It is yet another example of the second class, weak part of the government (The Federal Part), projecting itself as "needed", "critical", "important", "justified" by following one of the few paths the feds have, ie. "National Security". Just as the Feds facilitate "War" because "War" is one of the few authorities they also have and that makes them needed and important.
5. In all likelihood the constitution is being stretched again with the idea that such authority over citizens in individual states has been granted to the second class, central government. The real, real, failure of this if the citizens failing to hold their local state government accountable if they fail to resist such fabricated federalist authority.
6. If you look at Harmon's web site you see the image of a meek, mild mannered, patriotic, country, state, city, neighborhood loving individual. Who also happens to be senior member of the homeland security committee. She has the appearance of a track record of confronting the government on Iraq and protecting babies from evil toys.
Anyway, just a few interesting observations.
