Recent information has slightly reduced the probability of this asteroid hitting Mars from 3.9% to 3.6%. Scientists hope it will hit Mars so they can
examine the crater and look for evidence of life or life related molecules.
So I guess we are back to looking for life molecules. I thought we had already identified micro organisms in rocks and diurnal gas cycles that
indicated biological life and city structures and faces and.. Oh that's right, NASA can't talk about all of that!
The excitement mounts as Mars might get clobbered on January 30th. Get your telescopes set up and make sure your frig is full for the big event!
