Alcides Moreno fell 47 stories and lived to tell the tale.

The window washer rode a 16-foot scaffold as it careered down the side of a skyscraper and crashed into the alley nearly 500 feet below.

I don't know what to say, I fell two story and landed flat on my back and that knocked the wind out of me, smacked my head big time too.
As the articles says, and I think I have to agree.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. No one's sure how Alcides survived the fall, leading us to conclude that it was the Miracle on 66th Street.

Yes it is nice, unfortunately his brother Edgar died in the fall.
But still...

That really is amazing? To have fell from that hight and survived,

He really must have some purpose to fill, What a lucky lucky man,
Hopefully he will use this experience to really live the rest of his life,

Kinda reminds me of that movie Unbreakable. Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson. Will not ruin the movie if you have not seen it, but maybe there is something else going on that kept him from dying.

According to the wife she didn't have to tell him his brother died, he knew already. She said he told her it was not his time repeatedly. Makes you wonder where he was, possible near death experience.
