 Planet X revived

The search for Planet X may not be over yet. The Kuiper Belt terminates suddenly at a distance of 55 AU from the Sun, and there is some speculation
this sudden dropoff may be caused by the presence of an object with a mass between that of Mars and Earth located beyond 55 AU. Noted proponents of
this hypothesis include Alan Stern, head of NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto,[10] and Patryk Lykawka, astronomer at Kobe University, Japan, who
claims that we will discern this object's existence or lack thereof by 2013.[11] Lykawka's computer simulations suggest that a body roughly the size
of Earth, ejected outward by Neptune early in the Solar System's formation and currently set in elongated orbit between 80 and 170 AU from the Sun,
could explain not only the Kuiper cliff but also the peculiar "detached" TNOs such as 90377 Sedna. While some astronomers have cautiously supported
Lykawka's claims, others have dismissed them as contrived.[11]
An alternative theory, proposed in 1999 by John Murray of the Open University and John Matese, Patrick Whitman and Daniel Whitmire of the University
of Louisiana at Lafayette, has long period comets originating from specific regions of the sky, rather than coming from random directions as proposed
by Oort. This would result from comets being disturbed by an unseen object at least as large as Jupiter, and possibly a brown dwarf.[12]

For anyone to KNOW it was going to crash into earth, planet x must have been discovered and orbit plotted. If it was discovered, then where is the
evidence showing of it's discovery? I've never seen any personally.

Planet X is most likely between the belt and the oort cloud.

Welcome, Motopsycho. I imagine that it would be visible in the night's sky, seeing as it's due to pass close to Earth in just four years or
less. The thing about astronomy is that it's a very difficult science to carry out cover-ups in because of the large amount of unofficial and amateur
participation (I said very difficult, not impossible). Some say it is a black hole, so that it wouldn't be visible, but others have rightly pointed
out that its powerful gravitational field would cause visible effects like lensing and interference with other planets' movement.

so i would say that the "letter" is a complete fraud until i see the evidence with my own eyes.
James Casbolt claims there's an underground base in Oxfordshire, England near where I live.
There are ways to find out. Keep a lookout for buildings with a carpark that appears too big. If you see a small two-storey house with a 200-space
carpark then the chances are that there has to be more to it than meets the eye. Richard Sauder suggests looking for ventilation flues. The big
problem with underground structures is that they get very hot. I found this out when I visited a slate mine in Wales. They need massive amounts of
ventiation and air conditioning.

if that was the case, the black hole would also block out the light of nearby stars(behind). so we basicly would be able to observe an area on the
nightsky devoid of stars. at least, that is what i believe if i haven't misunderstood the way black holes work.

There is but one truth in this great creation. We ARE going to die some day!
Whether that's in 2012, if and when said planet X broadsides us, or tomorrow in traffic. It is inevitable.
It has also happened to every human being on this planet, as well as every other life form (immortals excepted) since time began.
You just better get used to it, because it will happen to you!
Personally, I would rather go out with the proverbial bang, than lie huddled in a tunnel waiting for a mountain of rock that may or not be coming to
smite us all!
It really doesn't matter, because somehow, life always re-emerges. It just might not be human, or yours......

We live in a society and are members of a species that is obsessed with its own prospective demise. I don't know if this is a deliberately induced
pathology by the-powers-that-be to demoralize us and keep us under their thumb (FutureShock it's called), or a natural aspect of our culture.
Whatever the reason, we keep imagining scenarios of Armageddon. When one fails to deliver we invent a new one. See how when the Cold War never ended
with a nuclear holocaust we created another set fantasies to replace it. See the thread on the Large Hadron Collder; it's the ultimate killer!
I wonder if we could cope with the thought that our society and species WILL endure in the near future and that it really DOES have a future! Can we
deal with that?

I know I can, but there are a lot of people {many on these boards} that have that rather negative death wish about them. I think THAT fact, is the
ultimate buzz killer....

“Future Shock”. This is the aggressive promotion of multiple apocalyptic future scenarioes that become so overwhelming that people start
perceiving the future only with pessimism and dread. It’s designed to demoralize us and breed despondency; an example is: “Well what does it
matter if we invade this country seeing as they’ll all be dead soon from the melting icecaps” or “There’s no point in campaigning for a
payrise because a comet is bound to strike this city and kill us all.” People who are demoralized and have their spirit battered are easier to
control.

Then that does cast doubt over the "Norweigan politican's" tesitmony.
Interestingly, if you apply Sauder's Law to Area 51 it comes up positive. Researchers monitoring the "Janet" flights have calculated that the
number of people who work at the base is much too big to staff the visible campus alone. There must be a large underground faciliy there.

anyway, i would really like to see the photographic evidence of this politican as images like this are easy to doctor, and even if the image is
genuine, that is not proof enough of the individuals credebility, as we have a lot of politicans here in norway, and we are not that many people on a
country basis. so the odds of meeting a "high" politican is very high, i have met a lot of them myself, but never bothered to have my picture to be
taken with them. "they" often meet "the people" shaking hands and so forth, but that doesn't mean that they know them personally and tells
goverment secrets. well, show me the credentials of this politican, and i can find out if he/she is genuine or not. i know we have underground secret
bases in this country, but that is further south, and even inside military base, an small enclosed area inside the base with a small house with
air-ducts/fans on top of it. being garded by a small number of soldiers with weird "dark" uniforms. so that our government/military is hiding
something for sure, but nothing in the area where i live.

You're right. There has to be a part of any politicians' whistle-blowing decision that involves coming completely public with who they are as a
person, with their name and status in government and their address in Parliament. This is the whole purpose of becoming a member of Parliament, in any
country, if you truly hold the belief that you represent the people. If you've decided that that is not your true role (understandably) then you
should either resign, and become a non-political whistle-blower, or shut up and be a good little gopher!

Well it has been a while since I posted here and thought I would respond. How can you believe in Sitchin's interpretation of Sumerian cosmology, that
there is a hypothetical planet which follows a long, elliptical orbit.reaching the inner solar system roughly every 3,600 years. I mean here is a man
that claims to have transcribed all this ancient Sumerian text.Lets put aside the fact that he is not even an archeologist or an linguist.
Sitchin was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and was raised in the British Mandate of Palestine. He acquired a knowledge of modern and ancient Hebrew, other
Semitic and European languages, the Old Testament, and the history and archeology of the Near East. Sitchin graduated from the University of London,
majoring in economic history. I mean his degree is in economics for god sake!
If you want to believe in the whole Planet-x theory......knock yourself out then.As far as I am concerned it is hog wash.I have never seen one iota of
TRUE!!! factual evidence in support of the planet-x theroy and all that Nibiru and Nephilim myth.Funny....a race of giants that come back to our Earth
every 3,600 years to enslave us...funny stuff if you ask me. Now I will sit back and wait for all the flame posts because I disagree with this
theory.

I nobody will flame you just cos they think differently. So many people think differently from me that I'd be a very lonely guy if I did
that!
Why are you so sure it's hogwash though? If lots of people from many unconnected cultures from all over the world are talking about the myth of a new
planet and people from the stars what is the source of it if it's not real?
This draws a parellel with the Atlantis myth. The story of an ancient civilization destryoed in a cataclysm and flood is almost universally
archetypal. For insance, it's also the theme of the Noah's Ark story, the story of Manu in the Indian Vedas, Cantref Y Gwaelod in Wales and
Zarallelli in South Africa. Some archaeologists are now coming to terms with the fact that it's all based on a folk memory of the global catastrophe
that hit the planet at the end of the last ice age 12,000 years ago. You can imagine it well! The people at the time must have been so overwhelmed by
what happened that they talked of it for generation after generation for millennia until it became a folk tale. The story of a visiting planet and
people from the sky is also universal and appears in many cultures. Could it be the same thing?
