This is my first post on ATS, after being an avid reader here for quite some time now.

It is time to join and contribute.

The interenet has opened my eyes recently... and one person who has caught my attention is Matthew Delooze - "www.matthewdelooze.co.uk". His articles on sun worship, the serpent cult, and their symbolic messengers have really helped me to start looking a bit deeper in all of this. Have a peek, some of you will find it quite interesting.

I was watching CNN one night, when Sheryl Crow came on stage to sing a song called "Shine over Babylon".

As soon as I heard the title, I immediately though of that David Gray tune "Babylon". Which has absolutely nothing to do with the cradle of civilization...

As I watched her performance, I noticed Sun symbolism and some very, very odd lyrics. I immediately sent it to him and he posted this article on on his website a few days later. A link to the video is there as well.

www.matthewdelooze.co.uk...

As Delooze said... "Is it just an innocent talented singeron display or is esoteric messages being placed and accepted into the subconscious of all those who see and hear it?".

You'll find the same sort of symbolism in videos of the live 8 concerts.

To give you a bit more insight, I guess you don't have to look much farther than the tree ritual we perform at christmas.

We bring in the tree (Tree of Life), and wrap it around with tinsel (The Serpent)... and where do we put our gifts (offerings)? Right under the tree... cool eh? :-)

If anyone else has examples, I'd love to hear about them.

Very interesting!
I had never thought about the christmas tree that way!!! We don't 'do' christmas, much anyway, except give our children gifts.
We used to not even do that, but it's so hard with extended family and everyone thinking you're in a cult.
(we go to a full gospel church, right now.)

Even some 'christian' singers have been caught using Babylonian symbolism and the like....
Shameful!

I agree with you there, it is shameful...

Here's another example for you, where we are lulled into releasing our spiritual energy...

In Canada, and the UK, during rememberance day, we wear poppies. We make a point of wearing a poppy, to show our respect for fallen soldiers. It's disrespectful not to wear one, when every one is wearing one.

We then gather around these 'Cenotaphs' (empty tombs), and place our offerings of flowers.

The poppy is where the mystique lies...

"Is it possible that we have been conned into wearing poppies in some sick sort of ritual to worship 'Hades' through worshipping or showing respect to Morpheus or the Oneiroi?" - Matthew Delooze

I'm just regurgitating what I read on this guys site, he can explain it better lol... none of this is original "GioTheGreek"

Here's a link to the article:

There's a LOT of info on those sites you listed.
Thank You!!!
Sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been busy.

I'm trying to find info on the significance of The Emerald City in the wizard of oz.
I heard about it about 10 years ago.

Hey hey!

Youre welcome clearskies.

Very interesting stuff, I agree.

As far as the Emerald City goes, check this website out, and watch the first video... and all of them I guess.

Enjoy.

I just stumbled upon it myself yesterday... I'm still trying to soak it all in.

Babylon is often used to refer to any major city, whether it is corrupt or not. While the David Gray song makes no direct reference to the ancient city, it uses the term Babylon to describe London and it's nightlife, not as some esoteric code...

The 'Poppy' reference, I believe, comes from this POEM

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below

~Ducky~

And the poem was written because of all the poppies that covered the fields where the soldiers died. That's why the poppy symbolism is used. Nothing mysterious or evil about it.

That sounds nice and all, except for the fact that the christmas tree tradition is actually a druid tradition and as far as I know, has nothing to do with the worship of serpents.

Santa is an anagram of satan, he comes from a place of flames and heat (fireplace). He bears commercialism. Coal symbolizes hardship and work. If you don't please santa... coal.

During one of the CNN presid. debates, the backdrop looked like TV noise with circles and triangles. These chaotic images belittle the human psych and confuse the observer.

Edit: I was going to say, every time the camera was on a candidate, their face and that backdrop filled the screen.

I saw a still online and it was very creepy imagery, a smiling face staring at the camera (you) with this strange image behind them, filling the background. All subtle technique.

Well,

I know this stuff is far out there, and most of it comes from this Matthew Delooze character.

I just thought his articles we're very interesting and thought I would share :-)

I simply don't know enough yet about all of this to challenge anything you guys say..

That's why I stuck it in Skunk Works.

Here's a pic of an advert my cousin found on the back of a magazine cover in Greece... with translation.

Very ambiguous words...

First phrase,
There exists a rapacious kind, who live and thrive on our planet...

Second phrase,
Our indifference allows them to survive.

Third line,
Now is the time to stop them.

Fourth line (bolded),
Being concerned is in our nature.

Fifth line,
Become a supporter of the WWF

Last line,
Call now 210 33 14 893

This 2 millenia Pay Back from the 'Christians ' on all other religions is over!
You all have had plenty of time to learn and perform the same horrid things done the the origianal Christians to others long ago. No more inquistions, no more Witch Hunts&burning - It's shameful. What is wrong with Cherishing the Sun or the Earth or the Moon- weren't they made by Your 'God'? what makes those false Idols when you place a mere man at the top of the holy hierarchy? Or the preachers you follow their every word- including judgement about others decisions and freedoms. (not your job!) frankly youweren't supposed to place Jesus at the top either -" One and only God" right? Christ was never meant to trump 'God'. It was his words and concepts that were supposed to be revered and remembered the words of God.
But then again- the more you all damn the more spots in 'heaven' for you . sounds more like greed than divinity to me.

So, I can't do it anymore???
What are you talking about?
Have you read anything I've posted on the evils of the numerous inquisitions?????

What is wrong with Cherishing the Sun or the Earth or the Moon- weren't they made by Your 'God'?

I just think it's archaic AND stupid.
In America (where I live) we have freedom of religion to think any way we want, n'est pas?

what makes those false Idols when you place a mere man at the top of the holy hierarchy? Or the preachers you follow their every word-

I am sceptical of ANY man, as far as following them blindly.
I follow Jesus.
What makes you think you know me????
Do YOU follow palm-readers and gurus, without 'checking' them out???

(not your job!)

All christians are called on to discern(judge) between good and evil.
ABOUT judging actions, not condemning people, but on the contrary, to help them by presenting them the truth!

frankly youweren't supposed to place Jesus at the top either -" One and only God" right? Christ was never meant to trump 'God'. It was his words and concepts that were supposed to be revered and remembered the words of God.

Who told you THAT????
If it wasn't for Jesus' godship, he wouldn't have been savior. (the Trinity) ???

But then again- the more you all damn the more spots in 'heaven' for you . sounds more like greed than divinity to me.

Spots????
Actually, the more we give of ourselves to our fellow man, the more rewards. That means giving the gospel truth. The truth can hurt.

There's room for everyone who is born-again in heaven, but "hell enlargeth itself."

MAN!
That's interesting to see how far and wide the Babylonian Whore of revelations has sunk her claws into the media.
Molech, and the owl and santa.
I don't believe in aliens.
But I do believe in Jesus, and his adversary and opposer satan and the fallen angels.
But, Jesus is stronger than they.

Constellation of the Month: Hydra, Corvus & Crater; The Water Serpent, The Crow & The Cup.
by Mark S Deprest
Printed in Reflections: May, 2001.

The Constellations of Hydra, Corvus and Crater

These three constellations are linked in mythology and are sometimes portrayed as link in the sky. So, we will look at them together. The story of these three is a delightful one that involves Apollo and his wrath and sense of humor. At one time Corvus, the Crow had beautiful silver-white plumage and a lovely singing voice, but he lost both of these as a result of not carrying out Apollo’s orders. It seems that Apollo sent Corvus to fetch a cup (Crater) of water. Corvus set out immediately to complete this task, but along his way he noticed a fig tree, laden with juicy figs. However, these figs were not quite ripe. Corvus could not pass these lovely, juicy figs by and leave them for someone else to devour, so he decided to wait until they ripened. When the figs had finally ripened, he enjoyed his tasty but final meal. When Corvus had eaten all of the figs he suddenly remembered his task of fetching water for Apollo. Corvus quickly filled the Cup (Crater) and raced back to Apollo, offering a rather lame excuse that the Water Serpent (Hydra) had hindered his efforts to scoop up the water. Apollo was young but not that gullible, so Apollo punished Corvus. For his selfishness, Apollo changed the beautiful silver-white plumage of Corvus to dirty black. For lying to Apollo, Corvus’ lovely song was changed into a raucous screeching caw. The worst punishment by far was that Apollo placed Corvus and the Cup (Crater) in the sky on the back of the Water-Serpent (Hydra). Hydra was instructed to make sure that Corvus never came within reach of the Cup (Crater) to quench his thirst. This Hydra is not the same multi-headed beast that Hercules fought in his second labor, as this Hydra is always pictured with only one head.
