Keeping warm with ONE beeswax candle

It is freezing out. The ice didn't melt today and its in the teens (F) tonight.

Brrr.

No heat in my home.... and its 10:17 PM.

But I'm warm and cozy and only one beeswax candle is burning. aside from the "warm glow" of the monitor

So I'd like to share.

On the floor, sits a 1x12 board about 2 feet long.

On the board are two square and true bricks, lying on edge, spaced about half a foot apart.

On the bricks sit a 9" cast iron skillet lid.

Under the lid, on center and between the bricks, sits my one small beeswax votive candle in a short jar. Stack your self up 2 bricks high for taller jars.


A twice folded towel over the lid - my feet - and then a twice folded towel over.


If your feet are warm... you are warm. My feet are hot. Hopefully now... so are yours.

You can use multiple candles to preheat... but you will find it only takes one to keep it going.

Sit still and enjoy some ATS as you burn "your candle" slowly.
