Police in Austria say they have questioned 107 people in an operation against internet child sex abuse.

A man from Vienna has been detained on suspicion of abusing his stepdaughter.

Investigators acting on tip-offs from the United States and Germany seized images and they also found films of two girls, one Asian and one European.

This can only be good - police forces now seem to be co-operating fully to rid the world of this vile practice, with the FBI taking the lead.

There will be the usual hand wringing from some of the more liberal people about violations of rights etc etc.

In most cases, I would be one of those concerned with rights, but not for this - peadophiles should be locked up, and the key thrown away, preferably in a prisons general population.

I'm pretty fed up with reading how it isn't their fault, that hey had bad childhoods, or that there is a rogue gene or chemical in their brain - the only way to stop them is to lock them up.

Good news. I am maybe what you would call liberal but I have no sympathy for child abusers. There does seem to be a higher level of cooperation in the recent past between nations in trying to fight this, which in my opinion, is a good thing.

In light of recent events here in Canada dealing with pedophiles, I have come up with a new way to punish these scumbags. Call it a two tier criminal justice system. One for criminals who commit crimes and one for criminals that abuse or sexually exploit children. It's called the locked room system. Essentially, you would take these animals and lock them in a room with parents for a period of time. The length of time is dictated by the severity of the crime. If the scumbags come out of the room, send them to jail. Although I could be convinced to save my tax money on these monsters and just put a bullet in there head. But then again, some time locked up in general population and not put in solitary confinement could be a bit of an eye opener for these pieces of garbage.

I'm surprised to find this topic here, but I am also glad that i can share something with you. A few weeks ago I leaved through "NEWS" magazine and stumbled over an article about the mentioned "Operation Orangebill" and "Op. Sinon" raids. They put a picture of the "man from Vienna" in it, and even tho they blacked-out his eyes and changed the name I (and colleagues too) have absolutely no doubt that it was Norbert S., a former colleague. Cant tell you how sick we all felt, coz some of us actually liked him and not even his fiance (also a colleague) noticed any abnormal behaviour of him or her daughter (mentioned stepdaughter).

Former fiance told me, that he will be jailed for 4-6 years, with "Sicherheitsverwahrung" after that (means: closed psychiatric ward).

You just dont get it . Why pay $40,000 a year to keep a freak locked up when a $1 bullet to his head will save hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Its not a sickness or a bad childhood its just they dont care , as they enjoy children as sexual objects and the only cure is to get rid of the scumbags.
