You have to wonder if the US was playing both sides of the street here. The broblem with that is you can get hit both ways. The claim is that it was also shared with Pakistan as well. However, much of the data was about Taleban and Al Qaida threats.

You have to wonder if the US is now trying to help foster the notion that it was an Al-Qaida backed plot to prop up Musharraf?
