Individual privacy is under threat in the United States and across the European Union as governments introduce sweeping surveillance and information-gathering measures in the name of security and controlling borders, an international rights group has said in a report......Both Britain and the United States fell into the lowest-performing group of "endemic surveillance societies."

Way to go EU and NAU. Now we seem to be heading in the right direction. Maybe we aren't so bad after all. HA! I guess the best thing from this study is that Malaysia, Russia, and China are worse than we are! We do need eyes in the back of our heads it seems. Cameras on every street corner, chips in our bank cards, GPS and satellite radio in our cars. Maybe the next thing is going to be someone sent to live with you and record you every move even at home. Oh wait, they are already in our homes with the internet and television. I guess we are just slaves to be monitored.
