Very defined but it must be VERY big to show up on this image at all! How could this have formed naturally? It must be a shadow of some sort but it's
hard to see anything jutting out that would cause a rectangular shadow. What does everyone else think?
I think it's a false color image. Shading would be the same but colors are introduced for definition; makes subtle features easier to see. I've seen
this used a lot in planetary images (esp. Jovian planets and Venus).
Strange it never came up when I searched. I only start topics after checking for other threads first. Since the story only just arrived on one of my
