Any particular reason, or just going with the underdog?

Just observing some of the spreads for this weeks games.

Seattle +8
Jauguars +13
Chargers +8.5
Giants +7.5

I guess the public thinks these games are not going to be close. The only team I think is going to get wacked is the Chargers. There just bad. If Tennessee had a ounce of offense they would have easily beat San Diego.

I think the best game will be Seattle vs Green Bay, this will be decided by a fourth quarter field goal.

I like Jacksonville, as long as they don't get stupid again...

Pound the ball into those linebackers, they aren't the youngest guys around. By the fourth quarter, they'll be suckin' wind. Plus, when your out there running the ball, that Patriot offence is sitting on the bench drinking gatorade.

Pound it, pound it, pound it. Did I mention run it?

Of course, I'm picking Seattle. A little obvious, huh?

I like what I saw from New York yesterday. They made a good defense look rather pedestrian.

Best game of the weekend could be Indy and San Diego. I like Indy. They've been there, done that. San Diego? Not so much.

Are the odds makers on crack?

Seattle +8
Jauguars +13
Chargers +8.5
Giants +7.5

Seattle to get spanked
Jags won't win but I believe they'll beat the spread.
Colts stomp Bolts
I think the Giants have a shot here. Upset of the week.

To give the Packers the best chance to win the Super Bowl.

well long range weather outlooks show winds and precip should not be an issue

so my picks going forward this week are

New England will beat Jags by 30 (finally the regular season is over they say) pats will be playing w/ less pressure believe it or not.

Greenbay will win but take Seattle and the points

Dallas will win but take the G-MEn and the points

ok if harrison plays for indy the colts win in a rout

Hopefully Romo makes it back from Mexico in time.

If he loses this week, the thought of him partying in Mexico with a woman who has already annoyed many Cowboy fans, combined with last years botched field goal hold.. it won't be pretty.

C'mon Eli!

Honestly,it wouldn't bother me if ELI never won a game. I really have no respect for him, not after what he pulled on draft day. Nope. :shk:

He was drafted by San Diego and refused to go... He should have been proud that someone even drafted him. To my notion, the guy is not even all that good, but I'll cease and desist.

Interesting.

Following sports as much as I do, I have no memory of this. As bad as that is, Brady Quinn takes the cake. Everyone felt so bad for him sitting their right smug the whole draft day, only to turn around and hold out for more money.

Are you kidding me?

ONLY in the NFL do rookies who have never played a game in their lives hold out for more money. If someone did that in hockey, the team would say thanks, but no thanks.. and have a good career.

While that is despicable, to me, what Eli did was on a whole other level of despicableness. What was even more funny is that the year that he refused to go to SD, the Chargers went to the playoffs and guess where New York went. Not the playoffs.

I really have no use for the guy.

If somehow the Cowboys lost against the Giants, I will ask Romo if the break in Mexico with Jessica Simpson was worth it.

You've got the week off. You've just become rich beyond your wildest dreams...a pretty girl, which lack of talent aside, Jessica Simpson is pretty, wants to spend time with you...wouldn't you go to Mexico, too? He had to have had permission. As long as he's back by the time game preparation starts on Monday...

Let the kid enjoy his 15 minutes.

I'm so torn between who, as a player, I loathe more...Manning or the entire Cowboys roster, hmmm...

Well since a Cowboys loss and a Seahawks win, NFC championship is in Seattle, I guess I'll just have to root for the Giants. Geeeze, this is going to suck...

Predictions...

Indy over San Diego
Jacksonville over New England

Seattle over Green Bay
New York over Dallas

Nothing to worry about, my friend. Come Saturday night, you will no longer have to worry about the NFL Playoffs.

How are the Supersonics doing, by the way?

Problem is, Dallas isn't going to lose to New York.
