I want to move things with my mind. Plain and simple, who doesn't? I don't believe in telekinesis. But for the next 2 months I am willing to put in no more than 3 hours a day to learn telekinesis. I will approach it with an open mind. I would like information on how to get started. I want to learn from someone who has moved something heavier than the psi wheel at their peek and preferably has videos of doing it. I will give it all I have. This is your chance for me to humbly admit psychic abilities are real.

Peace and Love,

You'll need to be unskepticised before you start your experiments. That could take a long time. I think you need to have some degree of faith for that kind of stuff to work.Look at me. I've always been a Geller fan but I never bent a fork in my life. I know he can do it but I can't. It's the self doubt you see. Sadly I'm filled with it.

I don't believe in it generally (or atleast the claims). But I think there is a possibility. A very slight one and I think that's enough faith to pour my heart into this experiment.

Start with that site, it teaches some good stuff about Psychic related things. It has diagrams and other manuals on how to begin.

Though my first bit of advice, is that you must FIRSTLY learn how to talk to, respond to, and communicate with your sub conscious. IMO from what i've read about this area, is that your sub-conscious is at the heart of everything: from the Great Divinity, life, whats around you, emotions, etc. When you learn to trust it, and communicate effectivly with it, the doubt will be cleared and you will be able to utilze your Psi powers more effectivly. You'll also possibly become more attune to spiritual powers as well

All my opinion though

Thankyou I am look at it now. My mom claimed my brother could see dead people when he was younger. So if these abilities do exist which I doubt. Perhaps I have some potential.

Day 1 yielded no results.

Practice meditation daily. 30 minutes a day minimum. You'll need to get rid of ALL skepticism. Confidence is the most important thing in PK. Remove all doubt before any practice. Here's an easy exercise to get started..

Hang a coin on a string, and wait until it is PERFECT immobile. Sit down, and start meditating. (I find breathing meditation is the best). Stare at the coin, and command it to move. Not verbally, in case of the air from your mouth blowing the coin. Concentrate on it. Will it to move. Ask it to move for you, if you don't like the idea of commanding it. Eventually, it will begin to spin. Try to make it spin faster, slow down, or reverse the direction its spinning.

Meditate after practice as a "Cool down". A healthy mind is as important as a healthy body.

Day 2 still has yielded no results.

I forgot to mention that I have tried this before over the summer. 2 months of pk practice and nothing. 3 hours, sometimes 4 hours a day. That's part of what made me a skeptic.

You're probably not gonna get anywhere if you don't think it'll work. I mean, there's probably a lot of non-believers who have had experiences but you've admitted you're a total skeptic. Good luck though. Maybe there's someone reading your thread who has some kind of gift they can use to give you a "jolt" of sorts.

I'm writing this mainly so that this thread becomes a part of my My ATS threads list.

Anyway, my advice (such as it is) would be to believe in miracles. That is: a physical effect that has no physical cause. Meditate on the existence of the universe by thinking of the Big Bang -- a physical effect that had no physical cause. Once you wrap your mind around that, give the TK a shot.

Faith is a must. As a fellow skeptic, I look forward to your results. I hope that you're taking it seriously and are making a real inquiry into this. Good luck, Snoggins.

(Edited for typos.)

Can anyone make a home brew movie and post it of them spinning a coin while speeding it up and slowing it down? I think when people suggest that the OP needs to rid himself of any doubt he also needs support to do that. With a simple homemade video of the capabilities of those on ATS no matter how small would go a long way in helping him reach that goal.

Unfortunately, I do not have a video of myself doing it as I do not have access to a video camera. However, if you want something to watch to help suspend your doubts, watch this:

In my opinion, its the best vid of TK out there. The guy makes a quarter jump inside of an upside down jar. And BTW, quarters are not magnetic.

I also suggest to go ahead and read the articles on psipog (watch the movies also if you want) ..

More on topic : I might have an answer on why you had no success even thou you practiced 3-4h daily , this might sound wierd , but you wanted it to much

From my own expirience (not that big , only playing with TK for about a month and have only small success at the psiwheel for now) I have noticed (and have confirmed it with some other ppl) that in order to maintain the connection between you and the object you have to get rid of all thought and mostly shut down all emotions.

So while you stare at the object do not think in your head "pleas move , come on move , move , spin , etc..." this will only hinder your process. For some reason the best results happen when you least expect it to happen . So just sit there (lets say 20-30 min per shot 2 times a day , dont overdue it or you might get serious headache) and just stare the biatch up and just KNOW that you want it to move .. If you want you can ask it (never command it) once a while "please move , please spin for me , etc" but also only in your mind , then again stop thinking alltogether .

The hardest part is exacly that , stop thinking (thats why people suggest meditation to quiet your mind and then right after medi you go practice TK before your mind starts to clutter with thoughts again)

Edit: this advice applies when using the "just do it " method , so dont quote me on it when you use some kind of visualization method or any other
(but i think it would be the same )

I'm attempting this now as well, considering i've got nothing better to do and i was always on the fence with psychic abilities.

After an hour or so of practice, in a room with no breeze or moving air currents at all, i have been able to slowly spin one of those paper pinwheels.

I took the advice of one of the 'tutorials' and used a combination of suggested methods until something worked for me. I'm still not convinced, and have been watching the wheel for 10 mins now to see if anything else could have caused the movement, but so far nothing. I will leave attempting it again until tomorrow, which was also advised in one of the guides.

If i can do it again tomorrow, i'll see if i can video it, although it will be nothing really new. There is videos of spinning paper wheels all over the internet.

My gosh though, seriously, the feeling i had when it started to spin is like nothing i have ever felt in my life. It was like a combination of pride and power, it was really weird.

The first time I tried TK I almost gave up, but through will power I kept on going and ever since I am so good at it.

I do have aquestion thou : while practicing TK (focusing on the object and willing it to move) do you also get preassure on both sides of your head just above your eyes a bit to the side of them ?

For me somewhat that is the indicator that I am getting a connection cause whenever I start feeling that preassure the paper starts to react (whobbling arround , not really spining thou)

Any tips to make the paper wheel spin?
I've been trying. No luck at all so far.
Tried different hand positions and everything ... I've been believing it was moving, I think i even made it wobble a few times and then i was urging for it to continue but just spin as well, but no luck.

Now I'm new here and just been reading around, but I been testing a lot to disprove all this "Thoughts have effects on our reailty" and ended up becoming a full beleiver(it's been 4 months now). Now during my testing I found somethings that will help u.

1.Depending on ur level of skill, the intention slows down and I can explan why and it's up to u to take what I say as true or false.

2.Breaks are good depending on how long u wanna wait and how powerful u want ur level to be in the end.

3.We humans make fields all the time and these are the heart of psi.

4.There is no concept of time,so just because u ain't getting it right doesn't mean it ain't working ,it could just be that u did the action in the furture and u just need to wait, sometimes just a few mins, other times hours to days, etc.

Let me give u some easy examples

U are studying and then u end up not getting it and then u go take a 5 min break and end up getting it,this happens ,because ur mind is still working on it and it's doing a good job at it and it's the same with any skill u will ever learn......

Now If u trust that we make fields all the time, then I will example why things would slowdown....When u hold a thought u end up programming a field that will do the action,so after u let go the field starts to move, but then If u start focusing again u start to remake the field,as If u started from the begin except it's faster and more powerful, but not as great as when u started, but it will be better in the long I know I'm just trying to add too much stuff in to one pack ,but I will answer any questions the best way I can and this only If u trust that what I'm saying is true.

Anyways here's the best way to focus

If u do 30 mins a day stick to that plain atleast one month

The first day try to hold focus as long as u can(if possble the whole 30 mins)(This is be ur first base)

The next day just look at the Paper for about a min and see If it moves(if it moves then good, but If not it does matter it should move later on during pratice) do 5 mins by 5 mins, take a break every 5 mins

Then just keep doing it like that and also it's good to tell ur self that u can move"blank" with ur mind(Think about it a lot though out the day to get ur self ready, but try to leave pauses).....Now Like I said u don't have to take what I said as true,it's fact to me,but everyone has there own way of doing things...I moved a paper with my mind before, but since there's not much u can do with it(unless u train to a good level) I gave up ,but I can if u wanna pratice for about a week take a rest and then show u if u want.

Here's the site that allow me to understand this wonderful progess(But I did a lot of testing, reaseach, etc,so I learned a good amount)

I will answer any qustion u have with more detail.
