How funny! Didn't realize there was a jerkey thread already.

I used to live in a small Wisconsin town where they make Jack Link snacks. It's one of if not the larges employer in the area.

All I gotta say is I heard a lot of horror stories about the place, especially from the people I knew that had jobs in the slaughter area.

Not that the product is tainted or anything like that, just how nasty it was from the blood, ect....

JL also has a grocery store in the same town, and you could get chicken, turkey, (I do believe I even saw Ostrich) jerkey there.

yeah a lot of mexican markets have it..they are called "CHICHARONES" u can make a soup oout of them with chile verde..they also have chicharones with a lot of like chwey meat on it..soo bad for u but tasty if u like that kind of thing..

its prounounced CHEE CHA ROW NES
