More details are being released of a Saxon burial chamber unearthed in Essex.

Some experts believe this too be connected to Sutton Hoo burial ship in Sussex, one of Britains most inportant archaeological sites.

This is an amazin find...i cant quite remember a lot on Sutton Hoo but i do remember quite a lot of excitment about it in the recent past.

Great post Gryffen!

Really interesting, I love when they find ancient stuff burried in the ground. I'm sure there's so much we don't know yet about ancient civilisations. Nice find.

Wood and gold? He must a been important. Wonder if they'll ever find out who it was.
