Italy seeks Condor plot suspects

Under Operation Condor - thought to have been launched in 1975 and running into the 1980s - the six military governments agreed to co-operate in sending teams into other countries to track, monitor and kill their political opponents.

As a result, many left-wing opponents of military regimes in the region who had fled to neighbouring countries found themselves hunted down in exile.

The still unresolved plot continues to cast a shadow over present-day governments in South America,

I was not to sure what to think of this. The first thing I was asking my self is would this be the action of a corrupt government? Then I noticed most of the warrants seemed to be for people in south America. So it will remain to be seen how many of them will be found. That could be the action that shows if this is being handled seriously. Just an opinion any way.
