This new film staring two of Hollywood A listers Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts portrays the congressman Charlie Wilson of approving aid soley to the
leader of the Northern alliance,Ahmad Shah Massoud who was friendly towards the U.S and the main force attacking the Russians and not the men who
would later become part of the Taliban who would provide bases for Al qaeda in preparation for 9-11. Tom Hanks apparently didn't want to deal with
this '9-11 thingy'.
The advertisment on T.V now point towards Wilson as some kind of hero and the mission as completly noble. Check this article and video out and tell me what you think.www.alternet.org...
