The future evolution of man will be of our own doing. We will continue mapping the human DNA. At some point we will learn how to manipulate it, thereby changing natural evolution into scientific evolution. I hop we know when to stop.

we will take the staps in our own evolution. as technology in many areas will make us selves adepteble
in all times as nano tech and bio mechanics will become more use full. we can engeneer ourselfs so we can become better. only thing holding us pack are the ethics groups and the religious groups who say we are not gods.

Anyone ever seen the animated feature "Waking Life" Its basically a collection of essays about consiousness and what reality is.. but there is an interesting bit about evoloution..

It is that evoloution is happening in ever increasing frequency. It took 1st humans maybe a million years to advance.. then next it took.. 100's of thousands of years for life to change... then only a few thousand years for life to change yet again... then 100's of years...

Life is currently totally different in less than 100 years... so if this cycle continues we will soon be able to see evolution happening right before our eyes.. until we reach a singularity...

Just an idea.. but it seems plausible...?

(Im going to try to start a new thread about this subject, as not to take away from this thread)
