I have just stumbled into your 2 year old discussion, which to me definitely proves the reality of time travel. What did I catch with the corner of my eye, something about Jesus being alien offspring, fathered by an Arunaki ?, makes
a lot of sense somehow, also the stargate business kind of got me thinking,
maybe it can only be used during certain astronomical conjunctions, perhaps the energy needed to operate them comes from a cosmic source tied up with planet with the advent of planet x. In my opinion we should do our utmost to keep those damn gates shut, sounds like they might actually be a direct route to the underworld and all its lovely creatures. It was stated however that they were only allowed to have fun with the bad guys, so if you are good you should be all right.

I fail to see anything offensive about it. It is merely his theory and just about as crazy as 99% of the other theories on this forum.

Why is it offensive?? do you have solid evidence that Jesus wasn't an alien?? Maybe he was. The dude could walk on water, and changed a bucket of water into a never ending bucket of wine, came back from the dead, and spoke to god. The more and more i think about it, i think its quite possible that the gods of antiquity, INCLUDING CHRISTIANITY'S GOD, were all aliens.

And if Jesus was born out of the womb of a virgin, which we all no is effing impossible, whose to say that she was duped by an et? So in response to the offensiveness of this post i'd say: Get Real dude.

If we can talk about this stuff in a place where ignorance is what we're trying to do away with, then maybe your in the wrong forum. I'm sure theres a christian support group somewhere.

In an age where there were no man made flying vehicles, how was there so many claims of people coming from the heavens and landing on earth? You have to realize that when the bible was written heaven didn't mean a beautiful white fluffy place with pearly gates, heaven simply met 'the sky above'. Chariots of fire, didn't mean there was a horse drawn carriage coming from the clouds. Chariot meant in modern terms a vehicle. So, that being said a chariot of fire coming forth from the heavens, probably meant a bright shiny ufo coming down from the sky.

IMO, Jesus probably was an alien, moses was contacted and protected by aliens while he was escorting the Israelites, and the gods of antiquity were all beings from another world.

Some people feel that because Jesus was apparently superhuman in many ways, that he must only be partially human. I guess they don't believe that a regular human being could come up with anything as profound as "Love one another."

Since proving the actual existence of Jesus is itself a bit problematic (no evidence other than the third-hand accounts found in the Gospels), any suggestion that he was fathered by aliens or time travelers is nothing but the purest conjecture and fantasy.

Indeed whose to say. Though we live in a human world with humans in it, so chances are higher that her father raped her, knocked her up and voila: "Oh... err... LOOK SHE'S A VIRGIN AND GAVE BIRTH!!! *nudge her and smiles*".

I mean Jesus was a weird fellow.

Disclaimer: If this is offensive, dont read the Bible as it has far worse examples of human behaviour.

I will certainly agree with you that it is total fantasy at this point, although as you state the bible gives us no real proof of his life, it does tell a rather strange story. Apart from Jesus being rather special because Mary was a virgin, we also know that artificial insemination is something even we are meanwhile capable of doing, I seem to remember that King Herod wanted all the children slaughtered who were born under the star of Bethlehem,
to prevent one baby boy of apparantly royal blood from becoming the man that would threaten his throne. Maybe the bad aliens were still in control of the royal blood line and perhaps they got wind that one of the good guys had come around for a visit, who upon seeing the state of things decided it was time to freshen up the old King David bloodline with some fresh cosmic input. He did say that his father who is in Heaven had forsaken him.
Why was he so sure that his father was up there, did he know who his Father was ? Being the enlightened being he was, he would have known that God, if that is who he was calling Father, is within as well as without. After everything I have experienced so far in my life I find it very, very unlikely that God actually had some sort of cosmic intercourse with Mary, I find it quite plausible that Jesus may have had another kind of Godfather who although not directly human was perhaps still related to us in some distant fashion. someone who obviously cared about us very much and wished to free us from the cloak of ignorance and slavery.

I also heard a story once about a humanoid who was sent to Earth by aliens who later became a mild-mannered reporter for a large metropolitan newspaper. It's a good story, with a lot of two-fisted action. I'm guessing it's not true, though because I have an open mind, I'm willing to look at good evidence to the contrary.

Maybe the Devil is an Alien as well, perhaps he has disguised his footprint
by splicing his Genes into ours and maybe Jesus was an attempt by '' God''
to right some of those wrongs. he did say, I will always be amongst you...!

Its offensive because of the time of year, believe it or not Christmas is'nt about buying "stuff" And bringing up the name of Jesus and connecting it to Aliens in my opinion is just inflammatory comment to start trouble..but hey its my opinion on the TOPIC and in no way reflects on the poster. Just expression a cold opinion on this, in the same way someone might express how much they find this topic fascinating.

Another thought just occurred to me, what if our lament, ''Oh God why have you deserted us'', is based on the sad truth that '' He '' in person cannot always be with us due to cosmic constellations making it impossible to be here and look after his flock and just when he isn't looking some reptilian dude happens to pass by...

Maybe thats exactly what the "aliens" want you to think.

Well not if you follow my drift, accepting that we are of mixed heritage, we are not entirely without defenses against evil, for his seed is within us and all you need is love and the reptilians will not stand a chance. They do manage to leave the stench of sulfur lingering in their wake for quite some time though, lets hope for the sake of our dear old earth that we can find the connection before all hell breaks loose.

Remind me NOT to claim that Prophet Muhammad is a Reptilian in the month of Ramadan. I might offend someone.

That's one of the reasons artistic representations of Muhammad are not allowed. They would obviously show his forked tongue and lizard eyes.

Well, the God stuff comes from Sumeria/Babylon, along with some monotheism thrown in from the Pharaoh Ahkenaten. The Christian stuff is a mixture of old Phoenician, Egyptian, Greek and Roman mythology, particularly the Mithra myths. Of course, the deification of Jesus in the Roman style caused some problems with that First Commandment, which the Muslims and their strict view of one God didn't dig at all.

The overall philosophy of loving your enemies is an interesting and sort of unique one, though, and perhaps picked up by Jesus (if he existed at all) in his studies at the Library of Alexandria in Egypt. The Bible says that Jesus and his family were Egyptian, after all, and Mary and Joseph were only in Bethlehem because of the census. Presumably, they went back home after they were counted.
