Jeeeez. How braindead is it possible to become?

Good luck with your life.

And the worst of all, you worshipped an image of him which wasn't him, and didn't even look like him or sound like him, or anything. All this you did, eventhough it is prohibited throughout the Bible, both old and new testaments.

To watch a movie is to worship.

Blessings,
Mikromarius

Once again, we have the egotistical Mik bringing us his homework and profound truths. How niave of us to think otherwise. We are all idiots condemned to hell, all for watching a movie.

Doesn't Mik/Hamilton watch TV, or seen a movie? BLASPHEMER!

I've watched the movie "Legend" about 20 times, "Prince of Darkness" about 10... I don't think I was worshipping Satan.

Then again, I saw "Jesus of Nazarath" about 3 times a year for the past 20 years... do I think Roman Centurians were just like Ernest Borgendine? Or think Jesus was an unblinking blue eyed caucasian?

You know what I think? I bet you're the kind of person who celebrates book burnings.

One has to wonder... if movie watching is worship... does that mean since the internet is mostly porn, that you are a fornicator?

Granted, we are not to worship false idols. We are not to pray to anything other than God... except the rosery, saints, plastic Jesus dashboard buddies... nope, those aren't idols...

Watching a movie surrenders our unconscious to the thing being viewed... so when we go to church, are we worshipping the preacher?

And true, the Jews didn't kill Christ... his Father did. Or had him killed, something like that. HE just used the Jew leaders as his pawns. AND WHY IS THE JEWISH COMMUNITY SO UPSET? They didn't except Jesus as savior, so why should they care? The whole thing about Jesus in movies being crucified isn't exactly a new idea.

There is so much more I can say right now, but I won't... but Christ Almighty... for someone who spouts so much biblical stances, Mik doesn't seem to follow the "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" philosiphy..

Black is the ABSCENCE of light. That is why you can hold a prism in a beam of light and get the spectrum. White light holds all lights, visible and non. Once again (again), the Blessed Mikromarius is doing homework from something other than books.

God, how I'd love to swear... maybe I should purchase that option...

*sigh*... wish I could get the censor-off option right now, but it'll have to wait...

IT'S A FREAKIN MOVIE! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

We mortals are NOT the Elohim race... God and the angels are, but we are not. Sure, we were created in HIS image, but we do not have HIS omnipotent abilities, now do we?

If you believe in evulution, then yes, we are decended from Africans. If you believe in alien hybrids, we are decended from greys. Personally, I think Jesus was *gasp* Mediterranian/Arabic, since that's where his family was from, that region of land.

Well, I'm going to toss in a Barney the Dinosaur movie now... I have the need to pray to a purple foam suit.

soothsayer, sweet avatar that is the raddest one i've seen yet.

i think that the elohim(the alien race) were not tight with god. i don't think some of the things that they did were that nice. or godly atleast not the god i would like to believe in. it is probable that spirits with many different intentions/astronauts from many ancient space programs/ demons or angels have come and are currently present on planet dust. the elohim angels? yes the ones that god kicked out of heaven.

If people can keep their cool, Mel's film can be a positive thing for discussion. CALM discussions. It really doesn't matter if you are Christian or Jew...or atheist or Muslim. It is the process of sharing and understanding other people's opinions. CALMLY! That is what Mel has done...open the topic to discussion.
Personally, I won't be seeing the movie....not because I am anti-anything, but simply that I can't stand the sight of blood even if it is faked. (That goes for horror movies, too.)
Please remember that these people are ACTORS, not the real Biblical people.
I have some friends who are actors. I will have to ask what they think of Mel's movie.

I don't understand why people are so upset about it here. I mean, has it even been released yet?

P.S. It doesn't make sense to blame present-day Jews for the death of Jesus, anymore than blaming present-day Caucasian-Americans for slavery.
NONE of us living now had anything to do with killing Jesus, or enslaving people in the American colonial days.
We weren't even living then.

We are only responsible for what we DO. We weren't alive to DO any of those terrible things.

Prejudice is illogical.

Hmmmm. I wonder how much Mel Gibson will make on this movie? I wonder how much Mel will SHILL OFF THE DEATH OF CHRIST!

To even insinuate that the death of Jesjuah had anything to do with actors, makeup and false blood, that the guy on the screen isn't really dead and so on, have you thought about the spiritual implications such movies have? And what about if they follow the chronology of the Church, that Jesjuah was killed on a Friday, within the Passover sabbathweek, and not on a Wednesday Erev Pesach? What then? And what if they have typecasted their "Jesus" based on Catholic idols? That would display someone who is definately not Jesjuah, who wasn't even crucified on the same date and who was only an actor.... That's a beautiful scenario for Nero et al. But of course, "they couldn't look into the future. Noone can".... Wake up and see that this is fuel for every bloody antichrist since the be.ing of John, or even the cencus and the three "wise men".

Blessings,
Mikromarius

Is a white surface a lightsource? No. It cast away every photon which hits it. Black receives them and transforms it into heat.

I agree. I KNOW the actor is just a representation of a Catholic idol. I'm thinking its almost blasphemous. But, I am supposed to get with "the message" andnot the packaging.

But, in my mind, that means to me that plagirism (theft) is ok, then.

Why is it that Heathenwood is trying to stop people on going to see Mel's "The Passion of the Christ."? I know you have some of the Jewish population screaming anti-semetism (which is not mind you) and all but, what else? It irritates me.

I went down to the movie theatre here in Waldorf, Maryland and went to see if the movie was going to play. They told me "no, its too controversial"

Controversial! movie theatres can show movies with rape, murder, cursing, sick humour, movies without mesages but, as soon as a movie about Jesus comes around, heaven forbid they play it! They don't want to offend anyone! Makes me friggin sick I tell you!
ITS A CONSPIRACY AGAINST CHRIST THEY ARE ALL AFRAID! Afraid to get out of their comfort zone and look the Truth in the face.

I tell you now Heathenwood, Mel's movie is going to be big, mark my words, you've missed your train and Newmarket is going to ride big! Thanks for your over dramatising this whole event, it just makes people want to see it more. I implore everyone to go see this movie especially you my Christian brothers!

You know, this is just another example of trying to bring the white man down.........

Thank you. I think a lot of people are missing out on the fact that some movie studio is gonna get big time profits for this film. This is actually worse than the money lenders that Jesus cast out from the Church.

It more severe than anything recorded in the bible. If Bileam had carried out what he originally intended to do, that story could have been comparable, but no, there are no stories comparable with such a sin. And noone seems to care, or even understand it. It's true what is written. Nowdays fools will be called the wise and the wise will be the fools.

Unless ofcourse it hadn't been presicely foretold in the Book of Revelation......

So, the actors are not even closely resembling what occurred at Jesus' death. In fact, Jesus is not even resembled as he was portrayed in the Bible. What does this mean?

Can we identify the Man of Sin that sits in the temple of the Lord from this farce (being that the temple of the lord is the human body). Who is doing this so that ALL will believe the LIE?

It really doesn't matter WHAT color Jesus was. Jesus preached brotherhood.
I am a "Black" woman. In fact, I am a genetically- changed woman. as to race. I have been both BlacK and White in one lifetime. Not a disease, NOT a tan, NOT cosmetic surgery, Not "hanky-panky". I am an abductee.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

Listen, it DOES matter. If characterizes the Son of God in a false light---in fact in an evil light portraying good (because the guy on the screen depicts Cesare Borgia,a serial murderer), then something is REALLY REALLY wrong. Its blasphemous.

No one screamed religious insults when Jesus of Nazarath was played. No one cried foul when Dreamworks made Prince of Egypt.

Is it not said, judge not least you be judged yourself?

It is a movie, plan and simple. Historical or not, it is a movie. If it makes people think, great. If people watch it to be entertained, great. But has anyone against the movie even thought of the fact that it is still mentioning and bringing the word of Christ to the masses? Oh, I can see how wrong and sinful that could be...

Who cares how much money the studio makes? How many of you who are argue-ing along those lines donate time and money to charaties?

Look at the uproar that 'Dogma' had... Kevin Smith asked people picketing the movie "have you seen it?" and the responses were always "no". Isn't this the same thing?

A movie is a movie is a movie. If you don't want to see it, then don't see it. That's your choice. But to lay claim of damnation to those who do want to see it... who are you (open ended, not for anyone specific) to tell us what to do?

I like historical movies (hell, I like movies in general). Will I see it? Yes... if not in the theater, then by rental. Will I be giving my money to those evil bastaches who made it? Yes... everyone is trying to make money; if you say otherwise, you're either a fool or a liar. You surely make enough extra money to purchase a monthly internet account, money that is going towards coglomarate corporations who have their fingers in everything and anything.

And besides, how do we know if the movie is completly false, wrong, or erronius? Have any of you been at the crucifiction to experience the account first-hand? You cannot take the bible as a truthful and literal account; words change meanings, phrases and grammer structures differ from person to person. We can translate, but we also alter the words, to what "they were supposed to mean".
