New details of ancient Roman town uncovered

Topic started on 18-12-2007 @ 08:56 PM by Allred5923

How the Ancient's did what they did in their time fascinates me every time I see another finding of significance.

The newly uncovered features include street grids, clustered public buildings such as temples and baths, the town’s water supply system and possibly a large theater.

I wish that the "Library of Alexandreia" was still intact, we could have gained so much needed, explainable knowledge. But, now, we are left to put the pieces together for the future generations that will proceed us..

Ole Well, still worth the efforts!!
IMHO.

Good post, i remember reading this the other day.
Interesting that it was first discovered in 1928 but its only now that the use of our better technology is able to give us a clearer picture of what lies beneath the soil.

At least be glad that Library Of Alexandria II exists to this day and still active, been for like 20 years.

And as I am, very glad.
