More strange lights were seen in the skies over Maine late Thursday night, but it’s unlikely they were related to an incident earlier this week.

Two separate sightings here, the first one on Monday night.

An Atlas V booster just sheds it's gas tank and drops it into the sea 100 miles off the coast? Isn't there a chance it might fall on or near a ship that's out there? Kinda close to the coastline too.

"It was carrying what she called National Reconnaissance Office payload, but she didn’t elaborate because it was a classified mission."

National Reconnaissance Office payload- anybody able to speculate what this might be?

The next sighting was on Thursday. Well, here's another gas theory explanation for it.

"It’s entirely plausible that what people saw last night was frozen residue [from the gases] that re-entered the atmosphere,"

The Shag Harbour incident of '67 definitely rings a bell here...
