how many of you see a film and go cool
i want it and then end up not watching it for months or years?

i got dozens of DVDs which i bought but rarely watch them at all
why do we buy these things when we just put it to one side?

Primitive instinct to collect things, IMO.

We don't have to collect our food from the wild anymore, so we collect other stuff.

I am a DVD junkie. I have a couple dozen I intend to watch "someday." I've got a few hundred that I have watched at least once.

All I can say is, I'm glad I get Netflix now.

Well, you can. It's a company that you rent movies from for a set amount per month, with different plans. They mail you the movies in order from your list, you keep them as long as you like, then mail them back. When they get them back, they send you the next one. My plan is 3 movies at a time, unlimited rentals per month (up to however many I can watch & mail in that time) and it's about $16 monthly.

Here's the site. I don't know if they have something similar in the UK, but if they don't, they should.
