Im probably 50/50 ATS/BTS, sometimes more of one then the following week more of the other.
I read threads equally on all 3 forums but i dont post much on AP.

I started posting in BTS and ATS almost evenly, but lately I have lost interest in ATS and going more to BTS now.

I post mostly on ATS but have recently started posting more on BTS.

It is strange to me that I don't post at all on PTS as that is the subject that I know most about and is my favorite.

Could be because PTS is rather dry and not as interesting as the others.

Ive noticed this a bit with my posting habits too.

[rant]One of the sub forums that i most enjoy posting in on ATS seems to have a lot of threads lately that imo are more "pointless" than the BTS threads which have recently been shut down.
I have an open mind on most subjects but some of these recent threads are more about embracing ignorance rather than "denying ignorance".
[/rant]

ps, at least your able to post again enjoies.

I find PTS stimulating with such a diverse and opinionated crowd.

I have learned much in PTS and adjusted my ideology accordingly.

Yeah... ATS is starting to become the very opposite of what it stands for... I'm now engaged in a debate (if you can call it that) on why per capita pollution reduction is more important than overall total when it comes to affecting change. Geez. I have to debate this??

:bnghd:

Edit -- Posting mostly in BTS lately, but with the disappearance of the pointless threads, it's banging my head against the wall again on ATS...

I post pretty much solely in BTS now, I prefer the light-hearted and not too serious conversations in BTS. I used to post in all three but some of the stuff posted in ATS nowdays are a bit far-fetched or over my head for my tastes and there isn't usually much going on in PTS.

Yep.

Try this one on for size

I really do try and keep an open mind on most topics, i even sat down and spent hours researching a post for that thread and in the end didn't bother because i knew it would be ignored and ignorance would continue to rule.

*sigh*

I'd say my ratio is 2:1. ATS posts and BTS/PTS posts combined.

I think the difference is that here people want to interact and share ideas. Not that this doesn't happen on ATS but there are some that only want to prove their preconceptions or preach. Sad really.

thats pretty clear

11+ ATS
3+ BTS/PTS

Ah but it's:

+11
AND
3+3= 6.

Pretty much a 2:1 ratio.

I'd rather hang my head in a vat of beer.

that can be arranged
and then when you are drunk you can hang your head in shame
and then have someone use one of those horn things in your ear

That's among one of the most bewildering threads on ATS, but coming from that poster (who posted a thread titled "Why do robots want to look like us"), I wasn't too surprised. What amazed me was that it reached 4 pages... :shk:

Meanwhile threads that are properly researched for get ignored and sink to the bottom of the pile...

I hope this is simply a stage ATS is going through. I'm getting discouraged. I've done some research for a thread on Aliens and Evolution, but I'm not sure if it's worth while typing it out and posting it. I've also collected research material for another thread on the various factors with regards to climate change (human and natural causes), but again, looking at the state ATS is in, it seems like what intrepid said is probably true, and hence my thread will sink to the bottom again...
