Let's hope the doctors won't encounter any significant problems throughout the operation.
"The operation is progressing well and we have not encountered any significant problems at this time. Still too early to tell," said Dr. Santiago Hazim, medical director of Santo Domingo's Center for Orthopedic Specialties.

The operation began Friday afternoon and is expected to last 13 hours. It is believed to be the first of its kind.
According to the doctors, if the operation goes well Rebecca will begin life as a normal girl quite soon. I wonder what it will be like knowing that you had two heads.
