i find it rather interesting, how in the last 10 years, the UFO shows have moved from the SciFi channel (Sightings, etc.) to the History Channel - that says something, doesn't it? So now UFOs are History? very interesting...

Yes, it is strange in a way. Sci-Fi is the future and History is, well, past. It's like they never had a chance at being part of any present.

Maybe it's not funny, more like, sad.

if you look at the amount of UFO's in history from the beginning of time to today i guess the history channel is as good a place as any for the subject..

trouble with old ufo reports is THEY ARE OLD UFO REPORTS..

how do you prove something is real if there is no one left to tell the story..
thats what makes this ufo case the real deal...we still have the evidence and the eye witness hasnt been abducted or probed anywhere...

well he says he wasnt probed...

all you can do is continue to push and see if you can push over the apple cart..

thats what we been trying to do...biggest apple cart i ever messed with...

this has been the hardest thing i have ever been involve in trying to get attention to this...it could be the biggest story ever told and rewrite history as we know it today..you present a case to people and they look at ya and call ya nuts...or you are a liar or con man...

oh well just another day in the life of ufo research associate..

I know this sounds cliche'.....but did Bob and his friend have any missing time? Any unusual marks on his body, after this incident? How was Bobs health afterwards- ie thyroid ect? Did he have any nightmares? Thank goodness that object didn't hit either one of them. It probably wasn't aimed at them, yet *they knew* Bob and his friend were there.

no nothing like that star...he was healthy as a horse up till his heart attack back in 96...hes had a couple more since then but is doing great now...

he gives me the nightmares......

he said he thought the the object was aimed back at him..that it was shot at him...

Larry, were any electromagnetic/electrogravitic tests done on the object? It would be interesting to see what happened if it were put through a very strong EM flux. Would it exhibit 'stealth' properties or other abnormalities?

Cheers!

hi mike,
we have played with it trying to make a magnet out of it by wrapping it with wire and putting current through it...nothing happened and no body disappeared...

we got a compass needle to move a bit.. nothing like you would get from a piece of iron..

it will pick up radio signals like a cystal radio...we did a little back yard experiment with a boy scout kit and made a radio out of a piece of it..that was kind of surprising to get a carrier signal and it would pick up my cb radio when i keyed it up..

i did a test with distilled water and the object...we got current of a bit over a volt and quarter and it held that charge for around 8 hours...

we have done many tests with the EMF meter we have and have gotten readings everytime from the object...it varies on strength but it is always there...

we did all this after the safe incident and trying to figure out of if there was some sort of EMF emmiting from it...gibbons did the xray tests and we got the exposure on the film..

all of our tests but the bubble chamber tests and us in the IEEE conference in the vedors area playing with all the nice new state of the art toys for checking radiation are in bobs book and dvd...the los alamos report and other data is also in his book...

Thanks Larry! Now how in the world does it pick up radio signals like a crystal radio? You say you guys made a radio out of it! No...From a piece of it!! And it picked up your cb radio!

What the heck....???

YEAH it worked good...

we have a meter that has small speaker in it also,...you can touch the antenna to the object and walla its like everything is amplified and you can get some am stations and the police band in reeds spring on the meter...lol

dont ask me mike...i just know it happened and we got video of it happening...

stuff like this is why we have continued to pursue the answers we seek...when you tell people this they look at ya like your crazy...then you show them and they get the deer in the headlight look and go duh....then they figure its some sort of trick and start trying to figure out how you did it..

everything we have ever done as far as tests go is on video...i have 3 shelves full of vhs and mini DVD tapes from reeds spring to california to nevada to colorado...and all points around the country..

we have the safe incident from laughin and that was witnessed by the media and harrahs security as they drilled the safe open..

we where told by that same security personal to keep the object OUT OF THE CASINO and away from the machines...

Larry, I wouldn't think that it acting as an antenna is different than any other object like that. Even we make good antennas. I'm sure we all have touched the antenna of a radio and it comes in better and if you let go the signal goes back to the way it was.

Not that I don't think the object has strange characteristics, but I don't think this particular test shows anything strange. Did you repeat the test with a piece of slag? I would think you would get the same result.

The best way to check for EMF would be inside a Faraday cage, which shields all outside interference. Did you take measurements of the object while it was shielded? If so, can you tell us what the measurements were?

Thanks

we cant get radio stations down in the area we live in normally without an outside antenna as we are down in hole with mountains surrounding the area.....

now we touch the object it amplifies very weak signal still sitting in the same hole......

the thing is 9 inches long and 2 inches around..

now thats a pretty good antenna...

the meters we have are from germany...

MULTI-DETECTOR Professional - SINGLE AXIS
High Sensitivity Electrosmog Analyzer
German-engineered ergonomic design and 11 LED light bar scale (3 green, 4 yellow, 4 red),
Detects Electric and Magnetic fields with EXTREMELY high sensitivity, very high range
Integrated, switchable frequency filter to allow monitoring of high- and low frequency fields (VLF and ELF) separately
Integrated speaker to show if international maximum safety ratings are exceeded! i know we set off the speaker more than once...

i dont have the figures handy.... im not a scientist so i dont know the exact readings anyway..they where interpreted by a nuclear scientis we had for while working at the museum..

he is no longer associated with us or the object investigation in any way......

golka did a faraday cage test and got EMF also..

Given the thread contents, this post should win an award for 1. least relevant and 2. least accurate. Not even accurate enough to be wrong...

PS

It's "Occam" not "Occum"... Excellent work all round bro.

Now after reading all 13 pages of analysis which were done on the object, a poster who's spent the better part of a decade trying to find out what the object is, and the cover-ups by the powers that be, I'm certain you've changed your mind about it being a 'fossilized coniferous plant/tree from the pre-cambrian era'!!

And 'debunked once again' by who??

Cheers!

warning..DONT TRY THIS AT HOME..we are experts...

WE WISH..

i do understand people trying to identify this thing from the picture..
it does look like it could be petrified...its not but it looks like it..it looks like it could be grinding wheel powder build up to...its not but i looks like it..

the other thing the guy mentioned i have know idea what it is...

i really do get amused at times from some of the arm chair scientists and computor expert analizers who solve the mysteries of the universe in 38 sec flat an go on to bigger and better things..

im stuck on aluminum pine cones myself...

on word and upword...or whatever...

All the wrong guesses are an important part of the process. Each one eliminates yet another possibility bringing you closer to the truth. Someone earlier commented on how each persons past experience or knowledge determined what they saw initially. The more experience represented in these impressions, the greater the chance of identifying this in the end.

Any word on when the new testing may take place?

I’m very interested in this object but concerned about the way some of the data is interpreted:

“Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico Tech, and at the Geosciences Research Division of the Scripps Institute in La Jolla, California, have linked the strange fragment with planet Mars, because its strontium isotope ratio is 0.712, which places it right in the middle of the ration for two proved martian meteorites, QUE 94201 (0.701) and the Shergotty meteorite (0.723). “

I found this on a general Google search about Sr isotope ratios:

“ The primordial 87Sr/86Sr ratio of 0.699, derived from meteorites, has been steadily increasing due to the decay of 87Rb. Modern seawater has 87Sr/86Sr = 0.709 (Faure, 1991), which is intermediate between 87Sr-depleted ocean basalts (~0.703) and 87Sr-enriched continental rocks (0.710 to 0.740).”

An Sr ratio of 0.712 also falls within the typical range for continental rock so how can it be incontrovertible proof of extraterrestrial origin? The Cr results are definitely needed!

My second worry is over the claim of thermal neutrons. The adjective ‘thermal’ implies that the neutrons had a particular energy. I can’t see how the bubble detector data can be used to infer energy levels, surely it’s simply detecting all neutrons?

Now, I haven’t visited this thread for a while and I’m glad to see all the data Larry is providing. I was interested earlier to know whether the composition data can definitely be attributed to the whole bulk of the object. The direct X-ray exposure seems to suggest that the object is not homogeneous and that there is some sort of core/shell distribution. Do you have any idea about this, Larry?

As I said before, the emf associated with the object is its most interesting property and puts me in mind of an atomic battery. This is a technology well-known on Earth but still exotic enough to generate some odd data.

Any comments would be gratefully received.
