Greetings

Today i was shocked when i returned from my mother house. My computer
is always on, i never shut it. Now when i came back from my mothers house, i found out that cuteftp was on (it is an file transfer program) and also, when i started up my photoshop, i noticed that someone had been watching my designs. I know 100% sure that i have not been looking at those designs for a long long time.

Now, like someone of you know i was visited by security police some time ago, about a joke thread. Now they are hacking into my computer? This got me VERY angry, since i don't like people snooping around my stuff and transfering it out of my computer. I have nothing to hide, but this is [-snip-] insulting. I have a security specialist i know, and i'm going to let him take a look at my system. Also, i will remove my personal computer from the network, and only use a laptop to browse the internet.

So what do you guys and gals think? Is the time of privacy over?

Perhaps you could elaborate a bit more on your current situation and the "joke thread" that prompted the first security check for those members who are not aware.

If you started a thread on the previous incident if you could link to that thread as reference that might be helpful as well.

What?

Who visited you over what?

If your house has been broken into, call the police!

If you feel your pc was remotely entered then disable your internet connection, or press stand-by button on your modem (Arris, Motorola and RCA have this option for ex.)

Or just turn off your pc.

Here is the discussion about the visit:

www.belowtopsecret.com...

Now, i'm going to find some log files, to see what actually happend. Don't get me wrong, i don't have anything to hide. I just feel disturbed, and going to take some measures to protect me from this, i got this security specialist friend that i was talking to, and he told me he will build a trap on my secondary machine. So we will find out who's behind all of this, if they ever come back.

You have two posts in your thread on BTS asking you a question you have not answered.

As for them breaking into your place and searching your computer.. not really surprising. Not saying I agree with the act, but not surprising.

I ask myself why would any national security service pay a visit and even take the time and effort to break into a persons house and copy DESIGNS from his photoshop(????) file, when the only thing they´ve done was to write a crappy drunk student angstt fantasy type email about the NWO Vs terrorist group to a forum on the web.

To do anything like that the person would have to prove a relatively high level security threat and not simply be some drunk finnish bloke with a chip on his shoulder desperatly wanting to be part of a james bond film !!!

What happened was probably his mother tried to clean the PC and touched a button she shouldnt have by accident or his father was using it to look at certain pages he shouldnt while his wife was doing the shopping and hit a wrong button in all the excitment...

I would consider a death threat to the president etc to merit a visit but this....and after recieving a tip from the CIA aswell...

If some one use your home computer while you where out, check your cookie folder first, because to erase a cookie you have to know what to look for. so if your folder is full. You can do a print out of that folder for your records. all other files could be deleted, emails etc. plus some venders send updates on products paid for by C.d.'s. and require a valid e-mail address.

Where are the mods when ya need them?

C'mon man, even if you feel he is full of it (which I happen to agree with you on), you don't have to get personal about it.

On to the subject at hand.

I got a visit from the FBI some years ago. The "officer" in question told me he was there to conduct a background check on a neighbor of mine who had applied with them. Only problem was, they asked me only one question about him and about 40 about myself.

Amongst them were, "Do you consider yourself a good American?" and "Would you ever support any group that was dedicated to violent opposition of the United States government?".

The question they asked me about him was, "Have you ever witnessed him breaking the law?"

Since then, I haven't been so quick to doubt anyone being visited by the "authorities" as a result of something they have said online or on the phone.

Best of luck to ya buddy.

It turns out that it was my friend, and he had good explanation for it. So sorry for getting you all excited.

Go to control panel
then administrative tools
then event viewer
then system and review for that date and see if there was any strange activity
listed there during the time you were away.

I to got into trouble in 2003 for venting on a news board. The secret service showed up, questioned me, drove me to my apartment to check if I had any weapons then took me back to work.

When i returned home after getting lunch I noticed 5 or 6 what looked to be hispanic workers come out of a 400Sf apartment in the complex next to mine. I looked closer and noticed that they looked more arabic (mossad)?? than hispanic.

Then a utility van with a skin head lookin guy pulled out and stared me down like he wanted to kill me as he pulled out.

Shortly after this my cable tv began flipping through the channels by itself one night when the remote control was across the room.

I have had helicopters fly over my apartment in a densely populated area just some 100-200 ft from the roof tops.

I developed a heart arrythmia 3 months after the incident also known as PAF or Parosymal Atrial Fibrillation that was finally diagnosed in 2006 and is being regulated somewhat by anti-arrythmia drug but still face the possibility of having to do a RF Ablation procedure to correct it.

I have had strange touch tone and old rotary sound dialing on my phone line. Sometimes it sounds like the person im talking to is speaking through a glass tube.

I have had my apartment alarm system i installed at my new place be deactivated remotely

I have been on the phone with a friend in Alabama both on the computer in a private message box on Yahoo talking about things paranormal and conspiracy related and . Both our electrical power were turned off simutaneously

So yes..i can somewhat relate.

My latest incident happened when i was in Angel Fire NM and a V22 Osprey buzzed my dads cabin 4 times in a row nearly shaking the windows out.

I sure hope the next incident I dont wake up to find a 7 foot reptilian entity in my room wanting to have a little heart to heart chit chat about my interests in a matter of fact manner.
