If you could have a wish for Christmas, what would it be, and why?
Would you wish for something material under the tree...or something else.
You chose.I know a couple of people who would wish for snow..LOL!

My wish..is for my kids to be happy.Thats all I need to wish for.
Oh..and that I don't burn the turkey...

I have one more wish...but that is a secret between me, and Santa.

May I have 2...

I wish that my Mom was still alive and celebrating with us.

I wish that all of our troops could come home and be with their families.

It is an impossibility to wish for Peace on Earth and be corny.

Yes, Peace on Earth, good will to men!

Man! Every one of my wishes has been taken.

Happiness to our children, troops coming home, peace on earth, wishing a loved one who has passed could come back to celebrate the day. How in the heck can I top that?
We've got a good bunch here.

Hmmmmm............ Well since all those good ones are taken, I guess I'll wish that my loser brother in law would disappear. Now that's a wish!

I would wish for every country in the world to be equally rich. No more hunger, no more reasons for war. We would all be on the same playing field working together.
Oh well it was a nice thought anyway.:shk:

I should probably give this more time before I answer, but AD it is a beautiful thread with a lot of possibilities. So many wishes have already come true for me, and I am so blessed it is hard to ask for anything more just now, wait and I will get back to you.

Merry Christmas!

My wish would be to get to spend the day with my 5 year old son. I haven't seen him in almost a year.

Christmas wish?

That my mom could be here one more time...Christmas was her holiday. She'd have denied it, but she loved everything about it. The lights, trees, songs, well...everything.

Yep, I'd wish I could turn the clock back just once...then maybe Christmas would mean just a little more to me than it does.

Having said that...

Peace on Earth, goodwill to all. That's a pretty cool wish too.

Sweetie, she will be there with you in spirit. I assume she passed on, and they say on such holidays they come to be around you. Have a little private talk with her and tell her how much you miss her. I do that with my father and i feel his prescence.

I want my son to be able to raise the kids by himself and that God gives him the strength to do it and be a good father. I'm so proud of him!!
Prayers for my son are very welcome! Thank you!

She has, indeed, passed on. Several years ago now...

Present in spirit is not quite the same thing as actually being there, but I understand the sentiment, DG, truely I do.

Of course, Seagull. Nothing could ever take the place of my fathers laughter and his jokes, his joy de vivre and his wonderful sense of humor!
As i'm sure nothing could take the place of your mom really being there with you.
I guess we must cope and keep their wonderful memories alive.

God bless and take care.
