For the Condor or for Gun control?

The action by the Fish and Game Commission follows enactment of a landmark law signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger this fall that bans the use of lead ammunition by deer hunters in the affected areas.

She noted that the law would have provided an exemption for .22-caliber ammunition, which is typically used to shoot non-game animals such as ground squirrels and black crows. Alternatives to lead ammunition for .22-caliber rifles is not yet commercially available.

Sure this Ban is to Protect the Condor. Seriously though, think. With the second amendment in place, you can\'t ban guns, but since there is absolutely no ammunition available without any trace of led, why not ban that? What good does a gun do if you can\'t have ammunition. I understand that the lead in the ammunition is damaging wildlife. A ban on lead ammunition used for hunting is more reasonable than banning the possession of lead ammunition all together. Especially when there\'s no such thing as a bullet without traces of lead. My question is, is it for the Condor? Or is it just some created loophole to further disintegrate the Second amendment of our Constitution?
