My Threads Are Being Stolen By Other Websites From ATS!!

Now I didn't know where to post this, but last time I brought it up here, it was moved to a moderators forum and I've heard nothing after that!!

Well, here's another of the many examples I would like you guys to have a peek at. Here is a website that's pinched my ENTIRE opening post from the thread, 'Signs Of Alien Engineering On Mars' here....

And this is the website....

Just click on the topic, Signs Of Alien Engineering On Mars, in the middle of the page.

Now that's unacceptable. At least a mention should have been made that it is Courtesy ATS (Since all material is copyrighted to ATS). Or else permission should have been asked for the publication from me.

Now what? Just shrug it off? I guess there is no such thing as ethics left on the net any more!! It's said, copying is the best form of flattery! Am I flattered? NO! I'm fuming!!

This is one of those times I think ATS should get involved on the behalf of a member. You have been done wrong here, and this needs to be stopped before it goes any further.

I frown upon those who plagiarize and not give credit to those who put effort into it.

We need to FLAG this thread. This is important. We can put this on top of the board that way, and more people will see that this other site is stealing the items they are showing. And the more people that know this, the better.

That's really unbelievable. Maybe whoever is running or working on that iirobots site is an ATS member??? Or maybe even someone who works at ATS trying to start up their own website??

Maybe you should email someone at iirobitics and ATS and try and find out what the scoop is. You should at least get some kind of credit or at least a footnote, I mean that is 100% plagiarism.

Unfortunately though I think most of us are guilty on this world wide web of posting pictures and articles without sometimes providing the source - I see though that you're pretty good about labeling your pics and everything so I can see why you are upset!!

They probably thought you'd never run into their site and find that.

You said this happened before - I am now curious - what other sites have done this sort of thing??

mikesingh, I don't have any explanation for your lost thread but I do recommend using the "contact" feature at the end of this page. I've found that to be the quickest way to contact those who can help.

I've noticed a few threads on other sites with the same titles as mine, started after mine. I've noticed this has happened to others as well...

ATS is the crest of the wave, everyone else is falling behind.

Thought of that. Thanks to internos who's provided me the admin address of iirobotics. But I wonder if they'll do anything about it? And is it worth the trouble?
