now this is me writing.
its just me writing but its not just me putting words on paper.
its birth its death its every emotion that has a name and a few that dont.
theyre dancing under the fake blue clouds and the moon that matches my sweater,
not fearing anything but an insomniacs suicide,
yet still laying in its yellow cotton comfort because they can make the flowers smell like smiles and my fingernails feel loud as they grip their mother's womb,
anticipating their creation on a soggy early night and their immortality through the pulp of time's garden.

but eventually i'll let them sleep between thick splattered sheets,
and once again
its will just be
me.

The gestation period of the elephant lasts for around 22 months. This is one of the longest gestation periods in the animal kingdom. (The blue whale, for example, has a gestation period of around 1 year.)

Napoleon's army that marched to Russia took with them some of the first tinned food as rations.

Unfortunately the tins were made, in part,using lead and many of them died of lead poisoning.

No biggie though almost all the rest froze to death.

I also heard that the baguette was a Napoleonic invention, as the soldiers could shove the bread sticks down their trousers for convenience.... Wouldn't fancy it myself - Lead-bread-dead? There's a poem in there somewhere!!
