what happened to the post counter.

They got rid of it because I was posting about 125 posts a Day.



And UP wasn't far behind with about 50-75 posts a day

yah really i miss that little dude... i think it is because they didnt want you to keep track of how many of your posts were being erased...

The Post Count feature was removed because it was very apparent people were posting aimlessly simply to increase their own post count. The purpose of this was to gain more "stars" indicating rank.

Quality of posts is much more important.

And I might add...

I think I can speak for many people when I say we have all noticed an overall improvement in post quality and forum quality soon after the counter was disabled.
