A firefighter who reported finding a knotted rope and a threatening note with a drawing of a noose in an East Baltimore station house last month had placed the items there himself, city officials said yesterday.

How long is this madness going to go on?

Every \"noose incident\" is played up by the media, almost to the stage where it sounds as if \"angry white males\" are summarily lynching African-Americans across the U.S., yet when it turns out that a black person did it - the media\'s silent.

Hell, according to NAACP spokesperson Marvin L. \"Doc\" Cheatham, president of the Baltimore chapter:
\"It really saddens us to hear that evidently things have reached a stage that even an African-American does an injustice to himself and his own people as a result of a negative culture in that department\"

We live in strange times, my friends.

Ya tell me about. That is sad and it's sad that race is still an issue. It doesn't matter what color of skin you have, it's what kind of person you are and how you treat others. But leave it up to the media and race haters to keep it alive these days. That firefighter hopefully isn't a firefighter anymore is he.
