i was reading some threads , and decided there was an issue i was very curious / concerned about , and wanted to start a discussion specifically about it

ET intervention on earth.

This thread is NOT about if aliens exist / dont exist , its NOT about if u think they visit earth / dont visit earth.

This thread is specifically about the questions /debate surrounding their intervention on earth.

Now, i see alot of posters who claim various "connections" with ET's, and have read their posts in length. I see alot of ppl's speculations and questions about this subject. So i felt compelled to start this topic, for various reasons.

Alot of ppl feel/believe that Aliens (ET) should intervene in earth civilization and "Save us" from ourselves, for whatever reasons. The major response i find from ppl (most common typical response) is this::

Aliens follow higher moral/ethical guidelines/protocols that say they cannot interfere, and we must save ourselves from ourselves.

I personally, feel this is BS however. And here is why i say this.

IF aliens are real and IF they visit earth ; than the "no - intervention" arguement is flawed deeply, i feel. Due to various reasons, the major ones i will cover.

If they are real, they have ALREADY intervened in human affairs countless times. Eg: Egypt Sumer Meso-American societys Roswell etc etc.

Now, if they have really intervened, which i personally feel they have, that means this.

They came here and screwed up human evolution, they dropped precious cargo (ET TECH) on our planet, allowed our gov'ts to get their dirty hands on it, use it agianst the populace, and now , they refuse to intervene to save ourselves, from their poorly guided interventions, based on the non-intervention excuse.

Ok, ill try to reword this in simpler terms. Because im just cramming too much into one paragraph probably.

Aliens have already intervened in negative ways, Isnt it their responsibility to intervene agian and fix the mess they created?

How can they give an evil govt, their technology (i dont care if it was accidental) and let this evil shadow govt, screw with us to no end. And then they claim "oh we cant intervene we will screw up human evolution!"

Well, im sorry but it all seems too hypocritical to me.

Look if i somehow dropped a gun on a anthill, and the ants reverse-engineer the gun for the express purpose of using that technology to enslave the other ants unfairly, it is My responsibility as the guy who screwed up the ant colony, to fix the problem. Being it was me who screwed them up in the first place.

Is this train of thought making any sense?

How can ET claim its up to "us humans to save ourselves" ? They already permanently screwed us in the first place didnt they? I think theres plenty of circumstancial evidence to support that hypothesis.

So, what im saying is, IF ET really did drop even 1 piece of ET TECH on earth, even accidentally, they now have full 100% responsibility to openly , publically apoligize, and fix this mess they started.

So yes, im suggesting that if they refuse to fix the mess They indeed created, they are no better than the rest of the scum in the universe. Create a problem then run away with excuses when the heat turns up.

Call my cynical, call me insane, but thats my personal view on it.

They screwed us up, and now they refuse to fix it. And say its my personal responsibility to fix earth society. What a load of %*(&@$.

I personally feel they did screw up human evolution on countless occasions. And yes, im asking nicely for them to come fix the mess they created with their poor foresight/vision.

Anyone who wants to argue that its not the aliens fault, even tho they inadvertantly supplied the Gov'ts with tech they should never have seen, feel free to debate me . Id love to hear why its not the ET's responsibility to fix this mess.

Because im a firm strong believer that it is Their mess, and their responsibility to fix it.

If your going to argue aliens dont exist, theres plenty of more appropriot threads for that, so lets keep this one ON TOPIC , plz. Thanks.

1) Aliens are responsible and better fix this mess.
or
2) Aliens made mistakes , but overall are not responsible for this mess, and its not their duty to fix it.

Please elaborate why u feel either way. thanks for being rational and considerate of the topic. Lets keep this reasonable.

Let's say I go bird watching ... (not hunting mind you)
I drive my car to the National Park, get out my car and
travel down a foot path to a nice spot where I set up my
camera. I want to document how this humpback springer
redtail bird acts in it's own habitat. I'm at least 150 yards
from a family of them sitting on a tree limb. I snap some
photos and make some notes in my note pad. I accidentally
knock over my Nikon 2300 series telephoto lens camera
and it falls into a 50 foot ravine which I don't have access to
without a lot of outside help like a chopper or a crane which
just aren't handy at the time. So my camera hits bottom
with a loud bang and burst into a million pieces. This alerts
the birds that something is wrong and they scatter in the wind.
One of them swoops down into the ravine to see what the ruckus
is about and finds my Nikon camera which he don't know what
it is, nor how to operate it. Now I have been discovered and
lost my technology and it all happened quite by accident.

Now consider the same theory above with an alien accident
at Roswell and I think it might make a lil more sense.

No matter how advanced a civilization may become, they can
make mistakes too, even if their odds are more superior to ours

A mistake is a mistake, whether we do it or aliens do

Nice post and great topic of discussion! Personally, I feel that early in mankind's history, aliens came to the planet. I'm not sure if they created Homo-Sapiens but it would work in my book if they did.

These aliens then were worshipped as gods by the ancient people because of the alien's superior technology or whatever. A lot of ancient religions demanded sacrifice for the gods and only priests were allowed in temples.

Did the aliens stay for a while and let man do all the dirty work? It would explain the pyramids (which most of the chambers are underground) and the bizarre artwork we find from those ancient times.

Regarding Earth's governments reverse-engineering alien technology, I think you are right on the money. Humans went from horse drawn carriages in the 1900's to supersonic jets and the ability to go into space in the 1990's. In less than 100 years, we advanced so much because of reverse-engineering, but that's just my opinion.

Maybe the aliens want us to reverse-engineer thier technology by sending kamikaze-types to crash. Maybe they want us to be technological equals so they have an ally in which to explore the rest of the galaxy with. Then again, I could just be hoping for a world like Star Trek and Star Wars...

I'd have to agree, "If" aliens tried to help out and our Gov't messed it upfor everyone, then they need to get back down here and give that info to the people, and then, yes we can right there wrongs. But, I dont think they had much to do with our technology, just look at our space shuttle ,its far to inferior to what we could have with alien tech. I just dont see eviedence of there help, but if they did why be so secret about it? Who knows
?

We live in a world where there is a throng of ideas and speculations about ET's and their earth intervention.

Since the begining when humanity aquired conscious awareness of himself and his world we have been a custodial society where the elite few control all and who in turn who are controled by a superior source. If you look at history closely you will find many events which points to this where political and religious so called leaders manipulate and mislead to appease their own ends.

They cause conflicts and wars for what means and gaines only known to them and whom they serve. This machiavelian situation has everyone in a state of confusion where only a brave few using knowledgeable investiagation can understand the truth of the matter, which can sometimes be outlandish to say the least.

There will be many inquiring on your thread trying to bring dire straights, but also there will be some with good knowledgeable insight that you might be able to use.

As I wrote on a recent thread Knowledge is not absolute, it is an everchanging commodity which is enhanced and refined overtme.

This is the only true weapon that we have available to us on this planet which could be or not ours, [hoping for the latter].

Quoting from the Bible: The meek shall inherit the earth. This phrase might bring some meaning to all that is transpiring in our human history which will in time unfold with this speculation on ET's and their intervention with human affairs.

I hate these posts where people try to tell us what we can and can't debate about. Usually they ask us what they think about an alleged phenomenon for which there is little or no evidence. Gross and cowardly.

Why is it you presume that there is only ONE race of aliens and not thousands? Maybe the thousands of craft (many of which CAN be seen permanently around the moon with a telescope) which are in orbit around us have nothing to do with the technology we received, and they oppose the beings who did give it to us.

You're assuming these ET's were benevolent beings who cared about us. The ones that have intervened in our history do not have man's best interest at heart.

althuogh unintentional, this response may come across as just some trite oversimplification...impatience being my achilles tendon, but here goes. from a biblical perspective all of us are being tested & the majority of us'll fail due to our lack of harmony with nature. at some future point the wheat'll be separated from the tares for some reason, but they must grow together in order to accurately distinguish one from the other.

From all the "evidence" i've seen so far, my main opinion is that, we should be more wary of our own governments intentions, than those of the Aliens. I honestly doubt that Aliens literally just gave away their technology. It's more likely that our governments have done what they do best, shot them down, and stole the technology. However they have achieved it, we should be more wary of them, than the Aliens. If the Aliens posed a threat to us, we'd know it by now. And it's pretty clear, who the real threat is.

So, if it is our own fault that we are in this mess, that would give them no reason to intervene, right?.

If it is the Aliens fault, and we basically let them stay on our planet, in exchange for technology or whatever, then it is still our fault. So why should they fix our own problems? We have free will, and either way, we've buggered it up ourselves

Since your a new memeber, ill explain to you why theres a explicit topic and that particular topic must be adhered to in this thread.

Ok, if you dont draw lines, ppl Will argue about whatever they want. It always happens on any forum.

If i allowed you to come into this thread and denouce that aliens dont exist, we would be arguing over That for 500pages, and thats absolutely rediculous, when theres 500 threads dealing with that discussion topic.

See what i mean? If it was fair grounds to argue none of it exists, we wouldnt be debating my Topic! we would be beating a old dead horse yet time and time agian. And id rather not do that, and just stick to this specific topic, about "Intervention".

This topic is speculative, not concrete. Thanks for not derailing the thread tho, i appreciate it.

Also, please note in my original post, i said clearly

"IF aliens exist and IF they visited earth"

Thats a "What IF" type scenario. I never made a single claim that any of this was factual . Thats beside the point, it cannot be proven, and is a complete waste of time to debate that point. Utter waste of time. Ive been around ATS for years and i assure you, we have beat that horse into a bloody pulp here. And its time to move on, imo.

This thread is purely about speculation / debate of speculative topic.

In reply about the "dropping camera in the wild metaphore" :

Thanks , thats exactly the type of response i was looking for, very insightful and makes alot of sense.

So what your suggesting is that if any of this is true, than Aliens are fallable just like the rest of us. And they make mistakes almost as often as we do , lol. Not very reassuring, but funny none the less.

I guess it boils down to this :: Even if i dropped a gun on a anthill, that doesnt mean im smart enough to figure out a way to communicate with the ants, nor have a slight clue of how to even reverse the damage i created.

Good point.
