Legendary motorcycle stuntman Evel Knievel died Friday

Daredevil Evel Knievel died Friday said his granddaughter. He was 69.

First Barry Sheene, then Joey Dunlop, another Motorcycling legend passes on. Condolences to his family.

He'll be jumping busses in the afterlife. I was a big fan as a kid until I tried to duplicate some of his jumps on my Schwinn, on a much smaller scale of course, and realized that wiping out hurts. That was the end of my stunts, about age 6.

We found an album that he recorded year ago. It was still in its plastic wrapping, so we bought it. Never listened to it.

Wow one of my childhood heros has passed to the big palace jump in the sky. I grew up watching Evel jump buses and will never forget the crash at caesars palace. I had all the toys my favorite was the motorcycle with the action figure i would tape the thing to the bike and throw all over the place. :bash: man you could beat that toy to death but it kept coming back. Evel will be missed casue there will never be another showman like him.
